Hi there! We're graduate Sequential Arts students who love studying comics and helping others out on visual storytelling and writing. The two of us are about to enter our Masters program for Sequential Arts, so hey! Maybe one day we'll be teaching too! (pardon as we switch into singular person speech, it feels weird writing "we" all the time)
I've started up a new series featuring a collection of my notes and exercises from my Comic Writing Class and other Sequential Arts classes made into drawn tutorials right here: https://tapastic.com/series/JesnCin-Writing-Advice

These did incredibly well on Twitter, so I thought making a series on Tapastic could be helpful for aspiring webcomic creators.
I'm not fond of nonsense advice like "step into the shoes of your character and just figure out how your character speaks/acts!" or "just make your characters interesting!" I'm the kind of person who likes practical writing advice. Exercises that help an aspiring writer grow in a logical way. Things that will help make writing on that blank paper so much less intimidating.
Feel free to subscribe if this interests you, and if you have any ideas on writing topics I could make a tutorial on, feel free to suggest c:
