Ok. So my new tablet is here but my next pages are suffering from coloring art block. The problem is coloring I want to improve my coloring skills but they suck. My comic maybe put on another hiatus until I'm satisfied with the coloring. Sorry everyone
maybe have fun coloring digital coloring pages? less stress and you can try new stuff
Like others artworks?
Here's a tutorial I found useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhgSM_tnPM4. It's more specific to sprite work, but the principle applies generally.
This video is specific to Clip Studio Paint, but maybe it can help?
CSP and Photoshop(and Krita, etc) have tons of tools to change the current color on the fly, so if something isn't immediately nice looking, you can always change it.
Another good tip is to get used to working with clipping masks, if you aren't already. That way you can tinker with the color all you like without destroying the shape you've laid down.
Yeah I'm trying relearn doing clip layers, lock pixels, and reference layers along with selection tool
Ok so I've learned how to do flats. Now I have to learn the rest of coloring!
