It's not the restriction of the platform owners, though, it's the restriction by larger companies like apple and google. Blaming smaller companies like Tapas isn't entirely fair, and expecting them to sacrifice their own growth to make a statement is unfair too. If they did, that would be an admirable move from a political standpoint, but could be destructive for the many creators they have a contract with. Personally I wouldn't mind, but one of their other contracted creators who doesn't make adult content probably would! These are responsibilities they need to bear in mind, other peoples paychecks are on their shoulders!
I am all for another option, and if they are nsfw friendly that's super cool! But attacking people who aren't the root cause of the problem is not okay.
imo webtoon haven't done everything they can to balance the needs of nsfw creators vs googles and apples demands... but Tapas have. Despite being a smaller company. They don't deserve to be trashed for that.
