As I mentioned in another webtoon topic, I was looking at the list of comics that got pledges for December and noticed that one of the 1000$ comics was a Miraculous Ladybug comic. (a popular children cartoon for those who don't know).

It's easy to get popular when you're using a popular franchise. I though this was against the rules though? The person making the comic even says herself in the description that it's a fancomic, so it's not like WEbtoon doesn't know? Are fancomics allowed for pledges? Because gosh I'll make one to if that's the case D: I asked WEbtoon themselves but they did not reply.

that seems to be a muddled gray area that isn't really kept set in stone on many platforms.
it is claimed to be against the rules but there's always a few that slips through the cracks and ends up supported and promoted on the website too.
It's happened on tapas too.

I didn't know that fancomics weren't allowed
I've seen many fancomics for k-pop groups and Webtoon even recommended an Overwatch comics a few times. Maybe it's allowed after all?

Mine had a good boost, then are freezing a bit, but they are better, comparing to before. Maybe its just for now, in your case, and you ll experience another boost later? Its normal to freeze a bit after the first promo wave!
