Oh yeah, I know that. I really want gif support for us Canvas plebs, I wanted to have little animations for the magic effects in my comic 
and i just think music support would be neat
iirc, they hope to add gif support one day, but Canvas team consists of only three people and it's not on their priority list yet. So hopefully one day we get gifs on Canvas! I mean, we eventually got scheduling, I'm sure we'll get gifs in a few years.
