The novel I'm publishing right now takes place in the middle of the whole overarching story I have planned:
It's been a few years since the Skylark, a massive intergalactic ship carrying thousands of Spiral Knights, crashed on the strange planet dubbed Cradle. Since their arrival, the Spiral Knights have had to set up a base of operations in Haven with the inhabitants called The Strangers, but not everyone on the planet has been so welcoming.
Gremlins (a species of bi-pedal, rat-dog like beings capable of genius construction and machinery) have made it their job to rid Cradle of the alien invaders. The protagonist, Blast, and the rest of Wolver Squad have been tasked with uncovering a newfound plot to attack Haven directly, and foiling it however possible.
