My novel uses the framework of a gay romance to explore my experiences with anorexia and mental health issues. It follows the life of Mike, an aspiring artist, who meets a film student named Elio during a life-drawing session. Mike struggles with anorexia and addiction while Elio struggles with a fear of intimacy. As they grow closer together, Elio becomes more receptive to love, while Mike begins to question his need for self-starvation. WARNING: This book contains mature content that may be triggering to some readers.
