Novels that you think don't get enough love? How did you find them?

Hi all! So I have to admit, I'm sure there are gems here on Tapastic but I am having trouble finding them! I find it to be rather a pain to click on things based only on their title, read the description/a bit of the first chapter, and then go back... and I end up being lazy and just not doing it. So I'm looking for recommendations!

I tend to gravitate towards fantasy genre but am open to checking out different genres. If you have recs please write a little about why you like it and how you found it (so I can improve my browsing skills) and share the link! No self promotion please. I would start but sadly the only thing I've read on Tapas is They Say I Was Born A King's Daughter... because I didn't want to wait for the comic >__>

@STAFF If this thread gets noticed, may I suggest that for browsing novels we can see some degree of the synopsis in addition to the novel icon, similar to how we do on the forums. The icon is great for comics because it shows you the art style of the comic, which is a big factor in whether you'll like it or not, but for novels the icon is just a loose representation of the content inside. The synopsis is much more important

I just started reading M is for Monster by @375, and I'm really liking it so far! It's about a boy who has been locked in a room his entire life, and only knows his parents (aside from some staff in the house) It has nice fantasy aspects (although the author has it under the "Horror" genre) and honestly, it's really good!

One of my favorite English written stories is An honorable wish
Honestly, I found it while chacking what I'd be up against in the Writer's Camp contest, and fell in love with that story.
It's fantasy, and this time demons (Others, in this case) aren't the bad guys. They're just... people who live on another plane. But Julian can see them and saves one Other's life, who in exchange grants her a wish. And this wish will change everything she thought she knew.
It's an awesome story and I warmly recommand it!

Lord Alden Ewart's Agency for the Paranormal and the Occult | Tapas

Inane Aphelion | Tapas

I'd found Inane Aphelion first through I think a promo post on the forums, and got pretty much hooked after the first chapter or so. It's a pretty engaging sci-fi story with aliens, human machine hybrids and really to get a better grasp I'd just recommend reading. I'd found Lord Alden Ewart after the author reached out and it's also quite good.

I've also finally been taking some time to read this one and it's also very good (I'm lacking practice in the adjectives department but I mean well)

Hah! I'm not the only one here who thinks Lord Alden's needs some love! (It's a good novel and I absolutely agree with Vibrant and Peni.)

I actually found this one while looking at the Writer's Camp list and I've come to enjoy it!

Funny enough, this one is Peni's novel but, nevertheless I've also come to enjoy this one as well and I think it should be shared. (Plus, I'm a sucker for humans v. spirits, what can I say?)

Alien Fiction: The Queen in Yellow | Tapas

This is yet another one I found in the Writer's Camp and it's been a lark. It kind of gives me a Hitchhiker's Guide vibe, so I couldn't stop myself lol. Hope you guys get a kick out of these like I do!

Pretty much every novel I've found that isn't one of the premium/featured ones or whatnot has been in forum threads like these! Including many of the above.

So I'm really glad I check the forums now and then because it has proven to be a good way to find some cool stuff, with the bonus of it generally being by creators who enjoy talking with other creators and/or fans of their work.
