OC Fight Club Game (Writer Edition)

(Guess I'll swing back, just to keep the thread alive, and anyone else can join in.)

Kaeru stumbles forward, nearly falling off the mountain, startled by the impact. Tapping his ear, he speaks into a communicator.

"One hostile, not sure if this is the target."

As Mago lands, something croaks beneath her. Looking down, she spots a navy blue toad, which begins to glow white before detonating in a small yet forceful explosion, knocking her back.

"Keep your distance, there could be more." Kaeru spoke into the communicator, drawing an Uzi from within his Shozoku as he turned to face his opponent.

Might as well join in for fun! This looks cool! Sorry if it's bad!

(My OC Sinead Parker from The Forgotten Darkness. Short, long mousey brown hair, and has "super powers". Cloak, ability to turn invisible, she can fly, and has I.D 3D, which allows her to identify people with just a glance.)

As Kaeru spun around, his gun equipped, he was baffled to find no one in sight. He could've sworn he'd heard rustling in the cherry blossom tree. After failing to notice Mago's presence, he narrowed his eyes and widened his stance. "No one is catching me off guard again." He thought to himself with a huff.
Suddenly, a seemingly young looking girl appeared, sitting in the natural curve of the tree branch without a care in the world. "A gun, really?" Sinead remarked with a laugh.
Kaeru locked his sight onto her, his index finger gently tugging the trigger.
Shots fired, piercing the calm air of the scenery. But Sinead wasn't daft, she Cloaked in the nick of time, flew down, then kicked Kaeru to his knees, completely catching him off guard. - 40XP
Sinead grinned as she successfully pinned him to the ground, her super human strength over powering him. Little did she know, another person was eager to join in...

Given the way you've left this, I'd love to retaliate, considering the situation my ninja boy is in, but I'll leave it for a while to see if anyone else jumps in.

Oh, also, a little confused. Kaeru didn't notice Mago? She, kinda got hit back there. Exploding toad and all that?

Ah! Sorry about that, I read through it so many times! I knew I'd find a way to mess it up! Sorry if I've ruined the game. I hope someone else does join in, I really wanna see where this leads.

Nah, don't worry, it's fine. We'll just run it like this:

Kaeru's a ninja, he knows to be prepared, the mine toad was already placed and he was hoping someone would try to sneak up on him from behind.
Unfortunately, he got distracted looking down at the city and didn't hear Mago in the tree, which lead to him getting hit.
Mago leapt back into the tree, using the smoke from the toad as cover, which is where Sinead comes in.

Sound good?

As Sinead overlooks the entertaining fight below her, she decides to join in. Why not? She figures she has nothing else to do, so what's the harm?
Swooping in from above, without the aid of the smoke which was beginning to clear, she Cloaked herself. As she dived down, she snatched the Uzi from Kaeru's hands. As soon as the gun was in her possession, she shot up back into the sky, Cloaked once more. - 60XP
A confused Kaeru stumbles slightly, but isn't too fazed by the situation. He didn't have the time to be, someone was ready to strike!
"Let's see how he copes without his ol' Uzi." Sinead joked to herself, eager for the battle to commence once again.

(That's much better, guess I'll swing back. Kinda difficult considering how much Sinead just shook up the battle.)

As Sinead flew up into the air, she heard a small croak. Looking at the gun, she realized there was a small blue toad sitting on the barrel. Just as before, the toad detonated, but not with enough force to do any real damage.
"Gotcha!" Kaeru thought, summoning a huge red toad underneath himself, which launched a fireball from its mouth, blasting Sinead out of the air.
"This isn't a game, little girl. Get out of here before you really get hurt." Kaeru warned, catching his Uzi as it fell, aiming it at Sinead.

(I'm loving this! And yeah, Sinead does like to make things awkward for people!)

Sinead was stunned by the expertly calculated attack, and held her trembling hands in the air. "Hey there, nice toads! Shame this princess isn't available, huh?" She joked nervously. - 20XP

(I'll leave you to reply with how Kaeru would answer that, and your next move. I feel it would be better that way, instead of just me assuming!)

(Ah, alright. And no, you don't have to lose it. XP is basically serving as health bars, I guess.)

"Hmph. Suppose I should bring you in, you are an unregistered Super..." Kaeru looked at the trembling young girl, before heaving a heavy sigh and lowering his Uzi, "Look, kid, this isn't a playground. I'm already killing one person, so go home before I send you home in a bodybag."

Mago watched the two from the tree.
"Sapos explosivos?" She said confused. She frowned hearing Kaeru.

A giant spider suddenly dangled in front of Kaeru's face.
"She won't be the only one you have to bring in," it said.

A knife flew from the tree and at the hand holding the Uzi.

Kaeru moves his hand just enough that the knife only cuts him. Snapping his head in Mago's direction, he doesn't much care about the talking spider.
"Think about what I said. I don't want to have to beat up a kid today." Kaeru fires at Mago, hitting her in the shoulder.
Kaeru jumps up into the tree as the toad disappears in a puff of smoke, putting his Uzi away and finally drawing his Wakizashi.

Mago fell backwards. She managed to grab another branch with her good arm and pull herself onto it.

"Oh it's on now, greninja, " Mago muttered, rubbing her wounded shoulder. She made four illusionary copies of herself. They drew a messer from their cane and attacked Kaeru at once.

*note, Mago's illusions are not solid and can't do any damage. However they're almost indistinguishable from the real thing

Greninja! Hilarious!
I feel like I should explain a little more about Kaeru. Kaeru's a ninja who's clan was slaughtered a long time ago, now he's a Hitman. Someone took out a hit, which is why he's here. Since in his world Supers need to be registered, he's looking at maybe getting a bonus by bringing Mago in even if she's not the target (he's leaving Sinead alone, he's got a soft spot for kids).

Kaeru leaps back and summons another large red toad, which breathes out a wave of fire, cutting through the illusions and burning Mago.
"Two Supers, and one of them's got illusions. This is tougher than I thought." Kaeru think to himself as he lands back on the ground, activating his comm once more.
"Heads up, we've got Supers. I don't know if either of them's the target." Kaeru says, taking a defensive posture with his Wakizashi, "Someone identify these two, we need that paycheck."

Mago jumped out of the way of the flames, getting her leg singed.
"Who is this guy?" She muttered.

Turning invisible, Mago snuck up behind Kaeru and slashed his back with her messer.

(A little bit more about Mago:
In the comics she's 15. She's a magician for a circus that hides people with powers. In her spare time, she likes to sneak out and play vigilante. Her alter ego is Humbug, the nightmare vigilante. )

(Fun fact, ninja absolutely loved bombs. Another fun fact, Kakure Kaeru is Japanese, and literally translates to "Hidden frog")

Having lost track of Mago, Kaeru cuts his losses and drops a smoke bomb, filling the area up with smoke.
As it clears, Kaeru is gone, having moved away from the battle to recuperate. He doesn't leave without a parting gift though, and Mago gets caught in a fiery explosion from a bomb Kaeru left behind.

Other than that, nice version of the thread! I've been reading it as well, but since i'm a comic person i tend to post in the other one.
