I'm totally fine with non human characters, specially with creatures like the one you brought, it's one of the things I enjoy drawing the most!

I did struggle because japanese-created artstyle because now everyone can doit pretty much, doesn't have a lot of information on character's age, and my arstyle does work with info like that sooo.., so I made him rather boyish, but I hope that's fine and that you enjoy it :3
When I saw his purple hair and green eyes I though of grapes tho!

here it is, made the eyes a bit more purple to make them cooler while staying inside a warm colour palette :3, and to contrast the whole redness of it all.

just a lil' tip you didn't ask for, but maybe you should consider changing the values of the darker yellows as those yellows tend to look dirty and people associated those with yucky things, I recommend to go slightly changing the colour to orange so it looks more natural and more pleasing to the eye.

This of course is to be taking with a grain of salt, you are free to ignore my advise, you character is lovely the way she is already. :3
Also hope you enjoy this
