nah, not just nerdy characters for me. i tend to actually forget to give my characters glasses, which is funny bc my vision really sucks and ive worn glasses daily since i was eight. in my comic ive got two recurring characters off the top of my head with glasses - one is a minor character, and the other is a major character who won't show up for a while

I hate drawing Evander's specs too. Worst thing is, he doesn't even need them anymore, but he insists on wearing them because Daecon thinks they look hot on him.

And then there are clone Harry and Theo’s foster parents. Mr. Rosado has glasses.

And then there’s another one with glasses. It’s Matsumoto-san from my science fiction story Omega City. I have no current digital artwork of it but I have his design. He’s been one of my characters since 2018 at least.
