Once your novel/comic is complete, how do you generate views?
I just finished my novel and realized I don't need to update it anymore - what do I do to gain views and subscribers now?

I have 2 completed works. They seem to get views because of:
1) Tapas algorithm

2) all the links I've posted in the past in various places. Once it's on the internet it will forever haunt you. Both MAG-ISA and BROOD KNIGHT have gained somewhat of a following during their heyday. On drunkduck and comicfury.

3) Whenever I get readers who read my current work and get hooked then they want to check out my previous works. Storylines of AngHell Dela Blackpill and the 2 other comics overlap but can be read as stand alone either way. You don't need to read the previous comics to understand the current storyline unless you have a crush on Claudita and want to see her more .

I have one completed short comic besides my main one, but I don't put any more effort into promoting it. I'm just pleasantly surprised when it gets any views at all. I made it for an event, that event is over.

I also finished mine today... Inspired by girls-with-guns anime style from 20-25 years ago. No fantasy, no isekai, no romance, but a dark world, where science and technology end up in wrong hands.

A group of girls from the world of shadows, with past darker that the darkest night, are trying to live a normal life. But their past will catch up with them soon enough and they must once again fight, but this time not just for their own survival.

Lol I can't believe nobody thought of that in the entire Spanish speaking world... when "Anghel de la guardia" means "guardian angel"

It means "angel of the blackpill" if you read it in Spanish.
It means "The hell of the blackpill" if you read it in Taglish (mix of Tagalog and English).

Either way, it makes sense to describe the plot.
