How were you doing when you first started publishing on the platform?

I mean when I first published Cracking Eggs, I was just happy I could even get to publish my comics officially. They have always been my way of freedom of expression and a way of escape.
Also it is my way to express myself that I wouldn’t be able otherwise.

Cracking Eggs.

It’s a crime comedy I made about two thieves who are egg traffickers that bring American eggs to the British isles I wrote it back in 2021 I believe.

I haven’t touched it in years. I think it was only like one comic.

Elsie is more episodic though.

Especially with me finding out I am autistic I can see in retrospect why I chose comics and writing as my main form of expression. I have a hard time reading big passages and pictures help me communicate better.

I´m mostly on the tapas forum for the sketch a day topic. I just love to see sketches and observe
how everyone gets better over time and also how everyone has their very unique
style.

I only published one story on here, I only uploaded it to try out the online format and to
see if I like it. The comic is kind of dated and has nothing to do with the comic I´m working
on. I´ll maybe upload another one in the future.

About the mistakes, everyone makes mistakes, we shouldn´t hold that against people.

Completely random, with no real place to put this, but I made a 3d model of my monkeyman character so I can see how his head looks in certain angles.

Come to think of it, I might also need to model my pigman character as he's going to appear in Chapter 2. I'm still a beginner with 3d modelling and I've never done a non-human so it will be an interesting challenge.

hey, I was just doing that as well! I have some alien characters that are easy to draw from a side profile but impossible to draw from any other perspective. I went a step further and 3D printed them so I could have them in my hands when I draw.

What program do you do your modeling in?

That's really cool having a 3d print! I use Maya because it's what I learned from my 3d course. I did tinker around with Blender because it's supposed to be better for sculpting, but didn't like it so much because it's a bit less convenient.
