Opinions on Spiderforest?

I've heard their name being mentioned around and I was interested in know what other's opinions on them are...

I heard they were opening submissions soon, so I wanted to see what they were all about before trying to submit to them.

I'm a member of the SpiderForest Webcomic Collective, which currently has over 70 member comics.

The collective is mostly member-driven, meaning there's no staff but volunteers doing tasks. It's also not really like Hiveworks, as they're online publishers, but it does bear the benefit of a community of likeminded creators, who are always there to help out and of course the audience exchange via several different instances. (Comic of the Week, introduction of the new SF members on different comics, the head-banner rotating between member comics and so on and so forth.)

Question, have you personally seen an increase in traffic and interest for your comic on your main site or Tapastic since becoming a member?

I first had my comic on SmackJeeves (since it allows a lot of freedom with webdesign) and got my own website in August 2015, that's when this timeline starts:

Previous spikes were from me dabbling in advertising on PW.

Being in SpiderForest definitely helped reaching a wider audience, but it's still a lot of effort one has to put into it on their own.

I haven't been on tapastic that long, and I'm not too active here either... so my audience here is relatively small.

Awesome results, thanks for sharing. I do like that SF is a group of creators helping each other out. Sounds like a very friendly community.

I've been very impressed with their inclusiveness, thoughtfulness and community forums, and there's a number of just fantastic series on Spiderforest.

I'm a part of SpiderForest as well! I joined only just this summer but already I've been made to feel a real 'all for one and one for all' vibe from the community. Everyone is really helpful and kind and that makes me want to contribute to community projects and participate wherever I can.
