First time I hear about QPR, so I won't opine about that.
I'd rather go on a tangent and comment, without discussing about the existence or not of that third kind... why do they pose differently?
We're talking about affection, which in the first two examples is clearly shown by the characters facing and touching each other, open gestures and relaxed faces.
Why are those two on the third example not only giving the back to each other, but with their arms crossed, which is a sign of distrust and self-protection? Their faces express they don't really know what they're doing there, or what is the other feeling/thinking. It expresses such lack of connection, it's automatically putting that kind of relationship as the weird shit you should try to avoid, because it's going to be uncomfortable
