Hmm.. I see a few people saying that it's better to be pessimistic for the sake of not being disappointed when things go wrong and being surprised at the good. And like.. don't get me wrong, I've been there a while back, so I get the attitude.
But I mean.. wouldn't that technically count as a type of optimism? xD Like, if you have that mindset, you'd technically always be looking on the bright side of either result being either "I knew it'd go that way, so at least I wasn't hurt or whatever" or "I wasn't expecting it to go this way, so yayyy"
