Outfit Swap Art Trades

I just had a weird idea. Let's do art trades where we swap our characters' outfits with each other.

If your character doesn't wear a consistent outfit (like mine don't) they can swap with some relevant outfits from the stories. (I.E. Somebody is probably ending up in one of Alicia's red dresses. I mean it is "Damsel in the Red Dress.")

I'm gonna have to swap Alicia and Essence's dresses at some point too. Scaled up or down ofc, because otherwise Alicia would drown in fabric and Essence would be in the mini-skirt of a lifetime.

I think both Crystal and Belle from @pjthetoonaddict 's stories would look pretty in either dress.

@KevinReijnders Kyara Stormsen would strangle me if I put her in a dress again, and I fear for my life.

Nah I rubbed my hands evilly because I have a feeling Ian is going to end up in a dress.

No no, paisley is a pattern. It's super hard to draw. I think one of Mrs. Moon's outfits will probably end up on Ian lol

She'd definitely strangle you for it haha. But I am no saint when it comes to subjecting her to unwanted costume changes (she even broke the 4th wall on me!) So yeah, I'm game

@KevinReijnders Lol, which would she hate most? The purple sheath dress, the Red cocktail dress, or the Red ball gown?

(Googles paisley) oh yeahhh- I definitely knew that… but seriously- no one in their right mind would design a character who wears that pattern often. No one would torture themselves that badly

I can make Alicia wear paisley as often as I like because I don't have to draw or see it it's a novel XD. (but that is one fashion crime she doesn't often commit)

so, just to clarify how this works, we draw our character in the other character’s outfit? Or is it us drawing the other character in our character’s outfit?

@ArtGremlin You would draw my character in one of your characters outfits. I would draw yours in mine. Or that was the initial idea I was thinking.

You can pick whatever outfit you like to draw my character in. Fair warning, Ian is probably going to end up in something purple and lacy XDDD.

So how would we go about this. Do we draw our own characters in the others outfits, vice versa or maybe both? Or just leave it up to the pairing.

I'll just throw it out there now that I enjoy drawing Kyara in a variety of outfits. So my prefences goes out to drawing her in you guys' characters' get-ups haha.

Well you could totally do both if you like. I was saying we would draw each other's characters in the outfits from our own stories, but it doesn't have to follow the exact same rules every single time.

In my mind, since we've done this massive thread drawing each other's characters already, it be fun to do it a bit different.

But I'm game for either (though I'll prioritize me drawing my own haha. I'm biased)

For color reference, here eyes are amber-y brown, her hair is dark brown, her skin is cinnamon brown. Also she's only 4'9.

I enjoy drawing my own characters too, so I get it lol. Would you like me to draw Kyara in one of the dresses and swap, or would you prefer to draw her yourself, or both?

I'd say drop me a reference image to one (or both) of the dresses and I'll subject her to it hehe
