@KevinReijnders @Leyelle okay now I feel a lot better about exposing myself I think it is natural to write from our experiences, and being in my late twenties I’ve gone through many chapters in my life so creates a lot of writing material they do say write what you know, we might be writing things that are fantastic in nature or not exact events we’ve gone through, but I do think our experiences reflect back into it somehow, it just makes the stories feel more authentic

Kyara is virtually a more athletic genderswapped version of me

Got the receipts to this claim right here btw haha. Here's a set of sketches from may 2015. The boy in the hoodie is a cartoony self-portrait. Notice in particular the design of the smirk, seems familiar no? The girl on the left is the 1st ever sketch of what would eventually become Kyara. It's pretty much a 1 to 1 copy of the self portrait, but with longer hair and a set of titties

@Leyelle Honestly my proportions are kinda wack so if it looks crazy exaggerated you’ve probably done it right xD I won’t be offended whatever you do though lol don’t worry about it too much I just think it’s really sweet however it turns out.

Also I can't draw glasses XD. You and Alicia have the same hair texture so I parted your hair the way she parts hers, but made it a little neater than hers tends to be XD.

Oh my god this is so sweet you made me so adorable! It does look like me it’s sort of crazy xD my brother even thought it looked like me so I think you did a good job. Lowkey I’m pretty sure I’ve worn my hair that way before too. I even wear a lot of turtle neck/mock neck clothing too, Alicia is really similar to me it’s so funny. Thank you for drawing the butter bee artist lol I’ll be working diligently on the Essence drawing tomorrow so hopefully you’ll see it by tomorrow night. Or I’ll show whatever progress I get on it too!

@beebutterbee Thank you but take your time, and don't feel the need to rush. I'm glad you like the drawing, and think it looks like you lol. And yeah, for some reason (since I don't really care for them myself, they're uncomfy lol) Alicia wears a number of turtlenecks throughout the story, well mostly the same evergreen colored turtleneck, but this one is a "dress" (literally just her bff's sweater) that she got out of his closet and put a belt on, soooo. Short chick flex.

At this point it's just insane how similar you two are, and I'm starting to wonder if there are any other people who are like my other characters or who have characters like me. Lol.

And since this is apparently actually what you look like, please be prepared to go to pretty prison lol.

I think I did this before with my dad's button ups. But my mom's sweaters were really big on me too when I was little. She's 5 inches taller than me now, since she's 5'8, and I'm only 5'3. But Alicia is absolutely bitsy. I didn't realize quite how short she was when I wrote her. Only like two days ago I realized she's the same height as one of my ten year old relatives. Like only as tall as my nose, what?

And I know it’s so crazy how similar I am to your character, I guess that’s just a sign that you wrote a very believable character that really could fit irl.

Please excuse how wonky she's looking here XD, I need to practice drawing tall plus sized girlies. The minute I add the word 'tall' to any build I'm tryna draw the art quality depletes XD. She's also my most plus-sized lead but she has a more rectangle leaning toward apple build, so I'm making life hard for myself since I'm most comfortable drawing pears and hourglasses lol.

Me: How emo would you like to look-?

Leia: Yes.

This is legit probably the most interesting fit she has that I could swap other people's characters into lol, most of the story she just wears hoodies and jeans.

Still working on drawing Leia. I'm loving her fits, but every time I draw her she still looks awky. All I can do is practice IG lol, it took me a while to be able to draw Alicia well, and pretty consistently, so now I've gotta buckle down and go hard at Leia practice lol

Also, I'm getting Osborne vibes from the second Leia pic here lol.

Anyway, if anyone wants their characters drawn in one of these Leia fits, I'll give them a try. I'll probably do a little better than I manage on Leia XD
