it's pretty and whimsical in a mildly eerie way, what is the blue glow coming from?
The blue lights are actually a thing in nature, they appear near swamps. Also very common in various folklore. Usually they are associated with ghosts and demons.

I think they’re called wandering lights, but I’m not sure, at least that’s what they’re called in many other languages.
