Those not in the know, a pantser is regarded as a creator with no set plan of action, or a completed storyline, and flies by the seat of their pants.
We're quickly getting to that point in our comics where we're sitting back, looking at each other and thinking, "Okay, great so far...what now?"
When you get into this situation, and you will, it helps you to go back, and that means re-reading and reviewing all of your work so far from start to finish. Create a bulleted list of things, describe each page, even each panel, as a bullet point. Once you have everything planned out from where you were, to where you are now, you'll know exactly where to go next, we promise.
We use this technique in novels, screenplays and comics and it WORKS.
Kudos to the late screenwriter William Goldman ("The Princess Bride", "All the President's Men") for teaching our class this.
