Could I get a little info on the main character? What the story will be about?

My main character is a young woman named Renee Zareen Gilt who just recently opened a bookstore and had to give a speech about it opening and cut a giant ribbon for some reason. Anyway, in the town she's in, towns people started shoving and pushing to be the first ones, in. Towns people do this every time a new place opens up.

Btw... do you mean to use "gild" and not "gilt" in the other names?
Gild means to overlay with gold, or to have a glittery appearance. Gilt means something that resembles gold, or something that has a superficial appearance.
