Just for funsies, I decided to make a poll of my two main leads in my novel!

My novel is called "The Second Prince Loves a Lowly Maid" and is more than just the isekai trope it is sold as.

Lucy, our maid protagonist, is a girl who has always struggled with the concept of self-worth, which I'm sure we all have, too, at some point. Although she internalizes the struggle and braves it with an impudent front, Deidrick, the male lead, opens her eyes to the possibility that outward beauty isn't the only kind of beauty a person posses, through his many carnal endeavors and pursuit for her heart.

Of course, this love poses a difficulty because of many varying factors, but first and foremost because their social standings are too far apart.

Will their love come to fruition? Or will it face the fate of many others in their position?

Funny you should mentions this fighter select. The characters from my story actually fit in a fighting game since that where their inspiration drew from!

This is too accurate. Way, way, way too accurate

But the reason I voted for "the playboy " tho, was because, in this world, he has magic and is a prince.

So automatically, he has an advantaged compared to Mr. Eli, who is a newly appointed squire rewarded for his diligent efforts towards the continental war.

But yeah. If magic and status were excluded, Deidrick would definitely lose bad for sure :))

I don't know anything about either, but Diedrich seems like the weasily type. Never trust a man who's not afraid to die.

Though I was going to pick the less-popular option on this one. Turns out I was completely wrong. I just think Sir Eli is easier on the eyes with the shorter hair and armor. Plus the scar over the nose is cool. I can trust this guy to keep me safe. Plus I thought we were also voting for who wins in a fight, but my vote still stands between the dual leads.

Speaking of dual leads, my current story does this as well (especially using the whole "Fighter 1 v. Fighter 2" format).
