So I was patrolling the "fresh" section of Tapastic just now looking for some new comics to read and I noticed not one, not two, but three different "comics" by one person who goes by the alias of "naomi" that all read as follows (ON AIR) movie title here 720XPQ Online Movie with links in the description.

Really dude? I think 4chan/pirate bay expy is THAT way. What about you tappies? Got any crazy stories about rule breakers here on Tapastic?

I already had to report one rule breaker today >.> he was banned numerous times from Kickstarter for stealing art and started uploading on Tapastic, the best part is he made hundreds of fake accounts subscribed to "his" comic. To think this guy has so much free time to make hundreds of accounts then perhaps he could have used it to make his own shit and earn his subscribers like the rest of us.

A while back, there was this 'love guru' who kept posting spam all over the forums, to the point of sheer ridiculousness. I think everyone knows which one I'm talking about.

It was a spam-bot who called himself baba-ji (and some other variant, starting with "m", I think?) who clogged up the boards with hundreds of posts about how they would help us find our true loves and successful lives through black magic, astrology and palm-reading.

I spent weeks flagging post after post after post. :T

yes sadly due to the theme of mature comics Comic Talk last Sunday got invaded by bots and political idiots. and on my own site I keep getting sunglasses salesmen trying to spam

Never got to see the baba ji invasion, though there were a lot of people referring to it when I first joined. I haven't used the fresh section as much since I haven't been using the app but I will make sure to keep an eye out for spammers. Growing pains of a community eh?
