So I am really stuck trying to find the story. It's been a few years since I read it and I just cannot come up with the title. It is a completed BL novel, werewolves.
From what I remember of the plot there was quite a big plot twist in the story. So it starts with the pack alpha discovering his mate is a human. He has anger issues and doesn't want to accept a weak human as his mate but he finds he can't stay away from him either. They do get to know each other and he finds out his mate is orphaned and living in an abusive home and takes him from that home.
This alpha though has a bad reputation, he was known to kidnap mates of other alphas to get what he wants but he ended up accidentally killing one of the mates. At the time his father as the alpha and it led to the murder of his father which is what made him the next alpha.
From what I remember the plot twist was that his father was never actually dead but the enemies had found a way to sever his father's mate bond to make it seem like he had died and he was actually held captive along with the human's parents who were also not dead.
I believe the title may have something like Mate Murders or something to that effect in it.
Honestly, any help would be amazing. I tried finding it in my history or favourites but it looks like I never favourited it or it has since been deleted. And I don't think tapas keeps years of reading history.
