Please help me with my comic description :)

Hi, everyone! I decided to ask for help with my comic description for First Rose. Any suggestions to make the description better are helpful. I would like my description to be more interesting to readers so that it will make them want to read the comic.

Here are two versions of my comic description: Let me know what you think

Version 1: Liza is called 'Betty La Fea' by her classmates. She thinks that because of her outside appearance, no guy will ever fall in love with her. But one day, Liza's life change when a secret admirer wrote to her a love letter and gave her, her first rose. Who is her secret admirer? Could it be Mike, her best friend since birth? Or is it Ryan, her past crush? Maybe it's Travis, the guy that she really likes?

Version 2: Liza is labelled as Betty La Fea by her classmates, saying she resembles Betty in the series, My Ugly Betty. But then a secret admirer gave her a love letter and her first rose. Who could it be? Mike, the annoying yet cute best friend? Ryan, the kind and her swoon worthy past crush? Or is it Travis, the dreamy hot guy she currently likes?

Try this:

Liza thinks no guy could ever fall for her, believing herself to be too unattractive to catch the eye of a man. It doesn't help that her classmates call her "Betty La Fea". But one anonymous love letter and a rose flip her world upside-down. Who is this secret admirer? Is it Mike, her best friend since childhood? Or could it be Ryan, her past crush? Maybe her current crush, Travis? Follow Liza on her crazy search to find out!
