Please Help Welcome Inkblazers Community to Tapastic's Comic Community

Page by page comics can work pretty well here too. My comic Oops Comic Adventure is created originally in standard print format and I post those pages here, as well as another identical Oops series in vertical format so readers can choose to follow which ever version they prefer to read. So far the vertically format version is the more popular series. If you can, try vertically formatting a couple of pages and see how well that works. It was a lot of work at first but i like the creative thinking it takes to rearrange an already established page and the different reading experience is a fun thing to give my audience. A lot of readers on Tapastic use mobile devices so the vertical format reads better on their devices.

Aww man, its really cool to see Tapastic welcoming everyone from InkBlazers after the bad news! Though I've been there for a good portion of InkBlazers run, I never got to pull a comic out before the big announcement-- felt like a missed opportunity... But with feeling so welcomed here, I'm excited to get a comic started very soon just for Tapastic!

I do hope everyone can settle in well, the last 24 hours have been pretty rough for a lot of us. But I know I'm excited for the coming year and all the new things to learn and get used to here!

Hello again Tapastic. It's nice to know that you're all trying to make artists and authors feel welcomed here. We've been feeling crappy lately and reading this is definitely relieving. The community here has always been so nice

I haven't been in here in a long time and I've noticed a lot of changes since the last I've time been in here ( What is "Premium" about btw? ). For a site whose readers seem to prefer short and gag-a-day comics, I'm curious how well longer comics would do here. But since a lot IB authors and their readers who make and read longer comics are coming to tapastic, maybe that isn't much of a dilemma.

Although I kinda have to start all over again, I'm quite optimistic.

It all depends - one of the highest subscribed series are long form. I guess, what matters most to us is getting the right content in front of the right people

I'm eyugho, I am the creator of my comic Heroic Villain, and hopefully in the future I will be able to continue it further and create other comics to put up on this site.

Great work on Heroic Villain, the art style really caught my eye.

To introduce myself, I am Rogo, Ashikai's partner-in-crime and former community manager at inkblazers.com. I'm also the creator of Gravston, some webcomic thingy with a handful of pages (if you consider over a thousand a handful)

yeah... its a bit confusing...but vertical reader is not that bad. Just don`t add double spread pages. Welcome to Tepastic.

Im afraid there is nothing that can be done for Inkblazers... there was a newsletter explaining all the details about the closure.. its pretty much decided. what`s is left for us is to make Tepastic place for our stories.

Wow, so much has happened in just a short span of time... It felt like I was running away from some kind of apocalypse! This event will probably be known as "The Great Webcomic Exodus" or something XD

That aside, I'm amazed by how much the community here in Tapastic welcomed everyone with open arms. I've been here on Tapastic for some time, but IB used to be the primary website I was on, so I know how most IB peeps here are feeling right now. I'm hoping this event will benefit everyone in the end as we meet new people and make new friends. Again, thank you for the warm welcome!

I am super new to Tapastic, having migrated over from Inkblazers, but I appreciate you guys reaching out to the homeless authors from IB. My name is Ogawa Burukku and I am the author of FaLLEN, which was a Premium title on IB but is nothing now

I think I made a series for it but I have no idea how to use this site, haha. I was going to post pages but I can't figure out how to do that... bleh, I hate being the new kid.

Actually I already had an account here, so I'm basically going on with the publishing like I was doing on Inkblazers.

If you have any suggestion on how to make easier to read a "traditional reading" comic here on Tapastic, please let us know because we all come from a traditional reading system, not a vertical one, so we have to adapt our series to the best here on Tapastic.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
