Dialogue between the 2 leads:

Min-Joon dropped back down to the ground, smiling in disbelief. How could someone be so cute when they're shy? Recalling how Ji-Won acted, he chuckled thinking, ‘She’s crazy and I’m crazy, what a great couple we’ll make’.

“Aren’t you gonna tell me you’re deal or else I’m going to leave for the library now”, Ji-won asserted standing before him, she eyed him with a hint of curiosity.

Min-Joon swiftly got up from the floor, “Why are you going to the library? Aren’t you in the 3rd last position, I thought you didn’t care for your grades”. He asked hitting right on the sensitive topic yet again, he was sent reeling with a punch to the nose this time by Ji-won.

From Chapter 3: Birds Out To Play

"I see you took my advice and touched up your roots," Conri proudly replied while cleaning his glasses, a habit he picked up whenever he reverted to his human-self. "Did we stick with bubblegum pink?"

Thompson rolled his eyes as he drew himself from the host stand and closer for Conri to get a better look at his pink wavy hair. It was combed to perfection.

"I'm NOT sorry to report that its actually strawberry pink." smirking triumphantly with his response "Anna thought it look good and I have to strongly agree. I do look good; she is an expert after all."

"Anna is five and enjoys anything pink." Conri retorted and immediately ran his hand through Thompson's hair, returning it to its original messy fluff like state.

Thompson was left with his jaw dramatically dropped. "I can not believe you just did THAT!"

"Dont worry, I was the quickest rider in my school,” I smiled, “The Dusk will be fine as long as you dont tell him where I truly went,” I pressed my hands together, pretending to be calm about the situation but was really just internally screaming.

Reluctantly, Lyall answered, "Fine. I’ll cover for you but if you’re not back by sundown then may the Gods have mercy on you,” his eyes softened.

"That's sick…" Addai muttered, still covering Mine's eyes. "Come, let's head to the next wagon. This one isn't safe either,” he offered a hand and made Mine turn to not see the stain on the door's window.

“Y-Yes… let’s go,” Mine took Addai’s hand instinctively, letting him guide them.

“Yes, he did carry me here,” I admit, still annoyed with the fact that it was true. She motions to sit beside me; I fold my legs to accommodate her.

“So?” she beams, scooching closer to me. “What’s he like? How long have you guys been together?” I consider her question, piecing together my memories of being held hostage, chased through a bush, pressed against a door, and swung through the air like a ragdoll, only for His Grace to be praised all the same. In short, he’s insufferable and we have been since this evening. However, that’s not what I say.

-Chapter 5

He squeezed, reopening the gouges, and causing me to whimper. The blood, cool against my hot skin, dripped down my arm. “Did you think I’d let you get away this time, Dreamwalker?”

His venomous tone made my heart stop. I struggled to remember how to breathe against his palpable disdain. Despite that, something desperate and aching whispered out to him over and over. “Callum. Callum. Callum.

“Is it like… the same way we did last time?” Addai asked, confused about how to start.

"Yes and no," Mine chuckled, which made Addai even more confused. "It's a posture my mother taught me to slow dance, and I found it very comfortable," he smiled, "it's only steps, and once my back is hurt, we won't do twirls so… we'll only step-step.”

The kiss was electric, sending a jolt of energy through Harahel's body. It felt as if every nerve in her body was on fire, and she couldn't help but let out a soft moan. She knew she was making a mistake, but the pull of the Adversary's energy was too strong to ignore.

As they pulled away from each other, Harahel's heart was pounding in her chest. She looked up at the Adversary, her eyes filled with both fear and desire. "What have I done?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

The Adversary simply grinned, his eyes still sparkling with malevolent glee. "You've sealed your fate, my dear Harahel,"

Aakesh’s eyes fly wide. “Why would a child of the moon dare tread so closely to the lands of the sun? You must know the bitter history between the two, don’t you?”

“Is now really the time for small-talk?” Arun asks, riding up behind Aakesh. “Whatever we just saw, that monster might somehow reform. We should leave while we’ve got the chance.”

From Episode 09: Breach
“You don’t have to hide anything. I already know all about it.” Mr. Cavendish glanced nonchalantly at Iris from over his right shoulder. He stood a full head taller than her, giving him the look of some great ogre about to pounce on poor Iris.

“W-what? I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand…” Iris raised her shoulders in a defensive position. She began trembling and grinding the change in her left hand. Her body heat and the friction of rubbing them together warmed the coins to the point that she seemed like she might spark a fire.
