“She’s safe, or at least I pray she is.” Yuma replied, suddenly looking worried.
“Whatever do you mean?” Hari felt a cold shiver go through him. “Where is your sister?”
This came from the Chapter Love? 1 (I kinda went overboard on this, but as long as there is two characters speaking dialogue, right? I'll stop.)
"Love could be anything what people feel when...you feel affectionate or intense feelings for that one person, like you can not simply live without them by your side..." I smiled and looked up towards the moon, continuing my definition of love. "You want to be with that person all the time, never leaving their side. Without them, it feels like you just can't...breath properly. Love can be confusing, upsetting, furious, but in the end, it's all worth it when you are finally together, sharing both of your love for each other, but love can hurt you in more ways than one. Love is scary, as I already stated, love is anything. Wild, crazy, just as long as you do things with the person you love..."
Furusawa sighed, and shared a small smile with me. He patted my shoulder. "It seems like you know a lot about this word 'Love'. You're a real expert, you know? And I thought I was smart..." I was startled by Furusawa's response, I had never seen him like this before.

“So what if it’s only you?” I scolded, staring at his vague shape in the moonlight as I tried to calm the pounding of my heart. “What could possibly warrant you waking me up like this? You’ve frightened me.”
“We’re going grave digging,” he said with utmost surety. “Now, up you get. Not a minute to lose.”
"You recognize this symbol?"
It's hard to be coy in an interrogation when you do, indeed, know the answer to a question. But fuck it you don't get an excuse to bully people this often.

"What just happened?" I questioned Jae curiously, dying to know what they said. To my astonishment, Sunni answered for him.

He cocked a single eyebrow. “You may think that, but you have never known this kind of pain. Even the strongest always break. Take twenty lashes if you feel you must. But my advice? Don’t wait until you are permanently damaged.”

“Something is hunting Laichanan?” Hari couldn’t believe his ears. “Is there anything worse than those fearsome predators?”
“Yes, there are many.” Sora nodded with smile. “The Laichanan are prey to many even as they prey on many.”
“Well, I’m gonna need to head back. Thanks again for the food-“ Saul was about to stand up but the stranger placed its Bo staff on Saul’s shoulder.
“あなたは少しの間留まるべきです.” The stranger said from a famine voice. Saul was confused on why the stranger is stopping him.
“Uh, thanks but I don’t need a second course of food.” Saul said as he didn’t know what she’s saying.
“滞在!” she yells as she smacks her bo staff on Saul’s shoulder.
"Usually 'love' means butter, salt, and sugar, honestly," I shrugged, "and you still haven't told me what you're doing all this for."
"I don't understand," she said, the one active body scrubbing out the cast iron pan she was using. "How is love made? From those things? Why does that constitute -"
"Just give me the damn food."
“Good. Wait for me and don’t be surprised by my changes later.”
Both of them chuckled. Then, Carter kiss on the back of Selena’s hand before he stepped back to do a teleportation.
“Let’s surprise each other.”
Selena’s smile widened as if she said yes. Then, Carter’s body slowly disappeared from her sight.
“It’s quite wonderful now.” He heard Yuma tell his cousin. “But after dark, this place becomes something else, so terrifying.”
“Especially when there are Laichanan about.” Hari added for her with a snort.
“We can’t remain here, Okarg… Taunena has whelped, and the newborn needs food.” Okana held up the squirming new addition to their pack in her hands.
“It has to survive on its mother’s milk for now.” He replied, scratching his narrow chin.
"Why on Earth do you even own a car with no back seat?"
"You know, it was never really a problem until I got mixed up with your merry band of supernatural idiots. Several of which I am trained to kill or incapacitate on sight."

“I will do no such…” The injured Laichanan began, but Okarg silenced him with a large foot pressing down on his throat.
“You know the laws of our forebears, fool - the laws by which the Laichanan live and abide. To take refuge with another pack, you must be regarded as the lowest of the lowly. You will do as you’re bid… or you will die.” Okarg had never enjoyed himself this much before. The pleasure of being domineering over a hated foe made him forget even the burning hunger that drove him into this deadly mess. “Now get up, we are leaving.”
Matt was only half-paying attention when she said that, so when he finally processed what she said, he swallowed some omelet and gave an accusatory point of his fork at her. “Oh, well I’m sorry that no one else lives on Riverside. I’m sorry that no one else cares about countering the negative juju your house leaves on us. If you want to summon Marion Marley again, then by all means!”
Eileen flinched but then said, “No, I’m good for now,” in a nonchalant tone. “It also summoned Vivian though, so it’s not all bad.”
“Seen anything yet?” He growled at the cringing creature.
“A great many things, my Alpha.” Even in pain the imbecile mocked him.
Loc: I could never marry you Heldine, my customs forbid it.

“I see them now.” Okana whispered. “That tall male could be trouble and so could that skinny female we took before.”
“That one, with the crown of sunlit hair.” Okarg pointed at one of the female Humaine sitting on a fallen tree trunk. “She looks the weakest, and most tender."
