Confused, Trenton looked back and forward between the Leticias, “Which one of them are the real Leticia?!”
“Trent, I’m the real one! This horrible faker can’t dress right for crap! She is the whole reason you think I am cheating on you!” Leticia pointed at the doppelganger.
Hey guys!
Chapter 16.
“For days, days I have asked and all but begged you for quiet, for peace. I am a prisoner on this ship, treat me as such. Fucking flay me for all I care just stop that petty talk of yours. Or maybe, this is torture. It’s highly effective Laryssa, I am very impressed. But it is for naught, because I do not know what you want me to tell you."
Laryssa’s eyes were wide in shock, she was baffled by the sudden outburst. “Okay, but Jessica-”
Mika had doubled over as she stopped to catch her breath, but looked up to glare at him, though with the large smile she still had on her face, she doubted it looked threatening in the least. “Let’s.. let’s just walk. Do what you want with it.”
“I already was, but thanks for the permission,” he chuckled as Mika once again darted for him.
“Get in, boy.”
Great, the guy with the gun and trench coat was a complete asshole.
The harvest continues...what other insanity does our hapless victim see during 'Harvest Night?' Find out in part 2 of my collab with @vblairehawthorne!
“It is time.” Sora, in her dazzling new persona, smiled at everyone. “...time to begin anew our vigil against the evil that devours this world.”
“Yes.” Arden the Bolt Thrower said as he stepped up beside her. “The gods themselves have given us the power to wipe out the Predakren.”
"Your people are already fine with polygamy, excuse me if I think you wouldn't be against it." I chuckled.
"Multiple women or adding another man to our relationship would do nothing more than tire me out, besides...I love you. I only have enough love to spare for you and our future children." Ryzel smirked, pressing a kiss onto my cheek, his arm wrapping around my waist like a python’s soon afterward.
The Villain Moon:
“Nope! The Great Hydra was harmless from what I remember. If memory serves correctly, he was just some wannabe trying to be just like me. His strength is nothing to the likes of mine. It feels like it was just yesterday.”
“You should not worry about some pesky maiden’s silly fairy tales of love. The Hydra King is nothing compared to yours truly.”
“Hmm,” hummed the lady of the Silver Coin. She paused for a moment, perhaps to analyze Taulif’s lies deeply, then asked, pointing her cane in the air around her, “Do you hear that, Taulif?”
The thief pricked his ears, trying to pick up on any new sound or noise. He could hear one or two ravens cawing in the distance but failing pin anything out of the ordinary in a cemetery at night, he asked back, “Hear what, Madame?”
Lena replied, this time in an antagonized voice, “The sound of absolutely zero fucks that I give to your answer."
“Can I go with my cousin?” Rubia stepped up and slipped her hand into Hari’s.
“Yes, you can, dear Rubia.” Sora told the lovely redhead. “In fact, you must.”
I haven't released this chapter yet
_“Yeah, she’s been doing well these past few days.” Her words somehow managed to sound right in his ear, and he felt her sad eyes sink into his back. “You could always come with me?” _
He tensed against her request.“I have an exam next week so…” The clanging of plates filled the air, underscored by the growing sound of boiling water. “…but uh, maybe after?” He would regret refusing that olive branch later, but he couldn’t swallow the words back up.
Just enough for the shank to fall from his fingers, “Wha… what?”
Surely she heard the clatter, yet she held him close, not even acknowledging it, “I knew that you would win. Of course you would win. You’re perfect. I’m so happy.”

Within seconds, that soldier collapsed to the ground, unmoving. The others seemed taken aback. Quickly, the leader panicked and commanded his men. “Capture her fast! Do not let her bewitch you!”
They came at me hastily. One of them swung at me, and nearly got me. “Freeze!” I told him, and he stood stuck with his arm outreached and his fist clenched.
“Ok, you definitely hit your head last night.” His concern was completely genuine. He sighed before he answered me. “You asked me to stay, remember?”
I shook my head, hard. “I would never do that.”
“You’ve done this before... I believe?” She asked the blond warrior.
“Aye.” Calozel nodded. “On a few occasions, a long time ago... when the Sceptre of Eternity was in Alvaine hands.”
"Will you still be his mentor?" Kieran asks, bringing up a question I didn't know was even valid. Of all the problems with my Gift, Kaito quitting his role as my mentor was something that never crossed my thoughts.
"No. This will only become a problem, in fact, when the Second Register arrives. But I warn you that I can't stain my name with a pupil like that. ” He puts his feet on the table, while spinning one of his daggers. "What I mean is that if his Gift stays that way, I will need to take some drastic measures in a few years," he adds in the most natural way. He always talks like that, it doesn’t matter if he’s talking about murders or apples...
“I do not wish to forfeit my life doing so, dear Calozel. I will escort you to him myself.” Trejevis said coolly, and then looked right at Dainzel. “But she is outcast... and must remain here.”
“Dainzel is under my charge.” Calozel argued. “She has proven her loyalty...”
“The Alvaine are not guardians for the lesser races.” Nuamonro said with derision.
“You are wrong, Lord Nuamonro.” Dainzel had had enough of this pompous show of arrogance, and Hari’s anger fuelled her own. “I don’t care if you banish me forever. It shames me to be a part of this so called exalted race. The lesser races as you call them have proven on many an occasion they are not any less than anyone, and the Alvaine could learn a thing or two from them. Come on, Hari, let us leave. We are just wasting our time here.”
