Ah yes ice-cream and assassinations sound like a natural match. Anyways, here's mine from my light novel series:

Liam was deep in thought, as he often was tonight. He thought, “Why is this so damn hard?” He absent-mindedly moved forward as the line progressed, Ryan kept thinking out loud to himself about which ice-cream he was gonna get. He continued, “I am an assassin, I do as I’m told without question. Especially with that witch…” He stepped ahead again as the line did. “No. Failure is simply not an option. I will do it.”

Tried my best portraying Matheo's pain.

"Physical pain is simple. A blade through the chest burns, cuts, tears. Nerves fire, skin splits, muscles seize — but in time, the body numbs itself, and before long, consciousness fades. The end. In the latest chapter of my webtoon, chapter 1, Evelyn and her friends, Roman and Gabrielle are graduating from the academy. Roman and Gabrielle are together. Also they talked about things like Evelyn being Gabrielle's lady-in-waiting, the graduation ball, and family. At the end, there was someone who Evelyn doesn't want to see.

Sienna glanced up from where she’d been talking to Leon… only to find Noran already staring at her.

For a few seconds, neither of them looked away. The background noise faded; it was just him and her—eyes locked, like time had paused for no logical reason.

Something about it made her chest feel oddly light. Or maybe heavy. She couldn’t tell.

And then he started walking toward her—slowly, steadily, eyes never leaving hers. An unreadable smirk lingered on his lips, one she couldn’t quite decipher… and he couldn’t quite explain.

She leaned in close, her teeth brushed against his neck like daggers. Her tongue rested against his skin, feeling his pulse pound against her. Her body braced for him to cry out or push her… yet, he did not. His head rolled to the side and allowed her more room to feed as a small coo left his vocal cords. Droplets of saliva mixed with his sweat, weighing them down enough to travel like rivulets to her bottom lip. The saltiness reminded her of blood— no, not just blood. His blood. The blood he had forced upon her— forced down her throat whilst she was unconscious. Forced into her. A bolt ran though her and her jaw locked open.
She couldn’t do it.

The bustle of the day was in full effect. Shop owners had opened their stalls and a dense, flowing mass of people crowded the town square. The social sounds of vendors haggling for their wares filled the air.

He rode Runnels' horse back into town. He made sure to take the long way into town and looked back multiple times to make sure he wasn't followed. He wasn't, but the experienced lawyer knew better. Russ may have not had anything to do with the men last night, but Sawyer did. He didn't need to say it out loud for Lewiston to know. He could tell it in his eyes that Archie going to jail wasn't going to be enough. That's why Lewiston knew that another attempt was going to be made on his client and he needed to get back and be ready.

“Hey,” Caleb said, voice low and almost sleepy.
The familiar scent of leather, pine, and faint cigarette smoke curled around Noah like a memory.
He turned.
Caleb stood in his usual worn-out denim jacket, zipped halfway up. His breath fogged faintly in the cold. And there, just beneath his left eye, was a bruise — purple blooming into red, raw and ugly at the center. Faint swelling at the cheekbone.
Noah stared at it.
Too long.
Caleb’s hand slipped from his hair.
“I hit my face,” Caleb said flatly.
Noah blinked once. His voice, when it came, was quiet — not cold, but careful. “What happened?”
Caleb rubbed the back of his neck, eyes drifting somewhere over Noah’s shoulder. “The fence. You know the one by the old trail?” He gave a soft, humorless chuckle. “Slipped on the rocks.”

They were all wearing black suits with jackets and ties. Two of them were men, clearly older and more bulky than the boy.

The third agent, however, was a woman: pink hair tied in a high ponytail, eyes the same color, lips painted a bright red.

«I warn you — I don’t have time to waste. Get out of my way,» Kaito said coldly.

The woman took a step forward.

«You snuck in here… putting the Chizuro sum’s auction at risk…» she whispered, lowering her gaze.

Then she raised her head. Her eyes flashed with fury.

«I’ll kill you for this!»

He looked a little panicked when his gaze flicked up to meet mine, as if I’d suggested something dangerous rather than what was usually the first step in the process of dating. I couldn’t help but laugh, wondering how much I still had to learn about him as well. The idea of having a normal relationship with him, of starting over and trying to do things the right way this time around was so appealing that it warmed me from the inside out, but I was afraid that would be asking too much. Then I remembered how little I’d ever asked for before and decided I had to ask for what I wanted if I expected to ever get anything.

“Wait! Don’t go.”
My feet come to a halt, and I turn back around to see Charlie in a somewhat upright position, his eyes open to mere slits. But he’s looking straight at me with that red face of his. I never knew the asian flush was a real thing, but here I am, staring at it.
I move closer again. “Why not?”
“I don’t want you to go yet, Mister handsome.”
“Mister handsome?” I laugh. “Charlie, do you even know who you’re talking to right now?”
Charlie nods, his eyelashes fluttering.
I move an inch closer. “Then who are you talking to right now? Who is it that’s in front of you?”
He bites his bottom lip and I swear that alone did something to me I don’t care to admit.
“Blake. You’re Blake.” he finally breathes.
