Meet Pyfly! a fakemon!
even got a whole thing for 'em!
Meet Pyfly, they are a very tiny single stage pokemon. They are as small as a FlabĂŠbĂŠ, but can be smaller. They were first thought to be a bug/fire type due to their mouth and eyes, but pokemon professors found that Pyfly was in fact a fire/fairy! They live in small colonies in forests or even on snowy mountains. In those climates, however, they are easier to find due to the fact the heat they put off around their colonies makes a very nice warm area for them.
They are humanoid pokemon, male, female, and nonbinary presenting, making clothes themselves out of their favorite flower color. They often just make the clothes they feel more comfy in. It's said to get in a Pyfly's good graces, you provide it with multiple flowers, so the little pokemon can make as many clothes as it wants.
Embers fall continuously from it's little wings, however, similar to the Ponyta line, they can choose if they burn something, so the embers often just fall harmlessly to the ground and fizzle out.
despite it's scary appearance, Pyfly's are actually very helpful for travelers. As long as they are kept happy, Pyfly's embers will give off a heat that it will feel like sitting in front of a fire place.
If you do not keep a Pyfly happy, or you make a colony angry, you won't be allowed in their territory anymore under threat of severe burns. The only way to get back into a colonies good graces is to give a beautiful gift to the Queen of the colony. It's recommended that it's a gift of very expensive flowers, and sweet human candies.
Legends tell of a master trainer who was lost in the snowy mountain, he and his pokemon both starving, and freezing, when they found a wounded Pyfly. The Pyfly had it's wings ripped, barely hanging on. The Trainer, despite how he and his own pokemon were feeling, tended to the Pyfly, mending it's wounds. In return, the Pyfly lead them to it's colony, where the Trainer and it's pokemon were allowed to get warm, and eat of the berries presented to regain their strength.
The Pyfly the Trainer had helped was actually the child of the Queen of the Colony. As a result, the Queen declared that the Trainer will forever be welcome in the Colony territory, and even their descendants.
It's unknown where this colony is, but its said to be in the mountains, as there is a colony of Pyfly's that allow certain people to safely enter their territory and they even offer them food and the like. Researchers, however, have not been allowed in this colony, so everything that is known is only known by speaking to the trainers allowed inside their territory.
omfg i'm sorry this is so long
