This isn't actually the last thing I've drawn. I can't share the latest one with you yet because it'd be a spoiler for my BL novel The Little Night.

This, my friends, took me way too long.

I kid of stole the nose coloring style from J.Campbell, but
didn´t get it like he does it, so invented my own version,
but the coloring layer in Clip is called Campbell now

BTW, in case anyone is interested, this is my anatomy teacher,
her main focus is male anatomy

@PeteLensing yeah I have my own private battles with hair...since I don't have a steady hand, I can't ink long strokes like everyone else- and when I try, I lose control and it goes all over the place.

What I've been doing lately- especially on pieces with longer hair, I'll ink the hair on a different layer to itself- so that way if I mess up a stroke I don't wig out about the lines being attached to the rest of the piece...and once I'm done and I like the way it looks I merge the hair layer with the rest of the inked piece.

Hair is one of those things where I realised that I was still drawing symbols and didn´t understand
shapes and perspective at all. The same with clothes and clothes folds. Hands, heads and
everything else. It´s all big to small, then big shapes first. Easier said than done

Hm, jeah. Kinda stands out. It probably helps, if you make some other lines a bit thicker. But otherwise, it looks so gorgeous

Yeah, it´s always hard to tell in the inking phase. I´m planning to
color it in a mix of cell shading and red read redemption style
later. Maybe it will work with the cell shading.

I look up to artists which have enough experience to already know
that while they are inking. I don´t

Looking forward to the coloring then. Your inking looks fine to me though. Especially the different line-thickness. When I do my inks, I usually just go with the flow and what feels right. Then I leave it be for a moment and look at it later with fresh eyes. That helps me alot.

I wasn´t able to draw like any of you guys when I was young.
I was still drawing pencil on paper with a really bad style.

Part of the cover for my series that I´m trying to start on Tapas.
It´s about an anatomy class at an art university. I use this series
to use my anatomy knowledge and to have a reason to learn
boring stuff about anatomy.
