Working on Scarlet Society, 10 panels inked, and now working a bit in this one
(cofcof not me deleting my previous post just because I wanted to post this one because it looked better)

I stopped working on this within inches of the finish line. I was adding more highlights to make things stand out more but I sat back, gave it a hard look, and decided the colors just aren't working. I feel it should be monochromatic. Like the colors on a soju bottle.

Also I plan to add a background since they're currently sitting in an empty void and I'm not sure why I didn't add one in the first place.

Or I might just ditch it and work on something else.

Scene image for one of my illustrated novel's episodes of the main bad guy in the second arc. He has some dramatic lighting planned that panned out okay I think :3 The lighting isn't visible in this WIP--only the start of the shadows are but it is in the scene image in the novel of Guardian Kayden. Done in CSP on the iPad Pro~

oo the eye design to replicate the real angel eye works really well!

Atm am actually working on the cover for the next episode/chapter of my comic! (waterfalls are a challenge)

been fighting art block but managed to get a start on this piece a while back

still chipping away at it but the inspo wound up being that new(ish? idk) Sza song kill bill since a lot of folks have been using it on tiktok for ocs or dance vids. also trying something new/old with colors and lineart and playing with palettes made by desuzee on the CSP assets store

honestly might try for full on limited palette drawings and simple themes to get the juices flowing but it may also just be the cold weather killin the vibe =_=;;

Finally getting back to coloring on The Clique #4...been telling myself to take "baby steps" and not worry; now that I found out I've been accepted to MomoCon, this gives me motivation to keep working at remastering the comic.

Just started inking the batch of comic pages Im working on. Im drawing at 450dpi as opposed to 600, like I usually would for comic pages. I've always found the size difficult to adjust to, as I usually draw at a much lower dpi like 300. But working on my most recent episode was more difficult that it was with my previous 600 dpi pages, as I hadnt worked at that size for 4 months. So for the next batch of pages and possibly the rest of the series, Im going to be drawing at 450 dpi. I do realize it does present challenges, like not knowing which how thick the lines should be so they dont look pixelated when sized down, which has led me to rethink my plan at drawing at this size
