Gorgeous! If you tell your story the way you want to I don't think the style itself would stand in the way. Are you going for a darker or more 'mature' story? sometimes the contrast between a disturbing or intense story and innocent-looking or youthful designs makes it more compelling.

This was way back when I first got my graphics tablet and played around with it. The natural drawing feeling felt amazing compared to all those times I used my laptop's touchpad to draw. Never going back. ^^

Yeah my story is definitely on the mature side, in the sense that there s no joking around between characters or puns being tossed around xD! Mature and Dark go hand in hand, so yes irs a dark story involving brainwashed youth of a ever continuing "war of worlds" kind of conflict.
But yeah! I totally agree. I thought the exact same thing when i was first whipping up character sketches in this style. But im still iffy about the style due to the fact that i can't convincingly make very dramatic poses or scenes. The faces arent expressive as o now. but their cute though xD
