It is super hard to pick a favourite character in Grassblades, because a.) I love all of them, and b.) some of my absolute favourites have not yet been introduced in the comic, and I wanna avoid spoilers.

So, after much deliberation, and in honour of their memory (they exited the story just a few pages after they appeared, and are not scheduled to ever return), I pick my hapless bandit-trio, for being lovable dorks who had no idea what they were getting into:

They also got to feature on one of my thank-you-for-the-subs celebration pictures, because oh my gosh do I ever love them more than is reasonable for such minor characters:

They're named Ichi, Ni and San (i.e: one, two and three), because I am just as dorky as they are.

Awesome! Just curious though, how do you pronounce Trageon's name? When I see it, I think "Tray-gun", but I could well be mistaken.

As for my comic, Outcast Kingdom... I know this sounds like a cop-out answer, but I like all of the four main protagonists equally, just in different ways.
But I guess if I had to pick... maybe Hilda...?

Hilda is a Promethean (a race of Frankenstein's Monster type people), and sort of the group's unofficial leader. She is strong willed, and very loyal to her friends. But she is also proud, stubborn, and very prejudiced against humans (even more than most of the monsters that inhabit her home world). And yet, I sympathize with her. She's a lot of fun to write and draw, and I look forward to her future story progression.

thaaats one of her more angsty pictures, no doubt, but its what i have so shrug

shes a nonbinary trans girl from Camden, London, and shes very proudly Chinese and Jewish. she gets her power from a celestial shield fused to her DNA, which she got when it crashed into her towerblock, killing everyone inside but her, because it protected her. the only family she has left is a kind of weird uncle in Kaifeng, China. so, she went into care. she jumped from care home to care home, falling apart, growing more and more involved in petty crime - and she was very good at not getting caught, what with space tech on her side.
eventually though, she did get caught, and sent to a specialist prison that had opened a few months prior - the Superpowered Juvenile Detention Centre in Glasgow. And, well, that's where the comic picks up.

she loves panic! at the disco, cakes and cookies, and stargazing, and hates romance, small spaces, and the rain.
