Hi everyone! I know I'm late for this, but...anyway here's my Tipping Episode for Burning Bright. The artwork can be used, but looking over it, I don't think there is good image to be used like Kales'. XD So far I've really enjoyed the Tipping Program. I think it helped immensely with creator mor…
Yay! This was so awesome. Everyone did such a great job, and I was able to discover so many new and amazing comics! @CyndiFoster You're a trooper for all the work you put into this organizing everything. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing Christmas haha! Thanks again for letting me be a part of…
I'm late, here, but the inspiration for my episode from Burning Bright came from me wanting to draw Bran again. I think people are missing him a little (myself included). I was thinking of doing something fun and upbeat, but it didn't seem to fit with the rest of the comic, so that's why it's a litt…
The only one I can think of at the moment that really stood out to me (and several people have commented on) for Burning Bright is they liked the way I draw wings. This is one of those comments that make me go all fuzzy inside because I loathe drawing wings and I never feel like I get them right, so…
@joannekwan All those things you listed can kinda be summed up in this one panel: [image]
Hells yes! But considering the eventual content matter, no network I know of would ever do that haha! I would love for it to be animated in an Avatar the Last Airbender type style as a show!
I recently started on some costume design reference images for my characters, so I'll share something from that! Definitely a WIP, but here are three of my main characters from Burning Bright: Keela, Bran, and Ferrik. These are their starting costumes designs.

I like stories told from two or more POV's if it's the type of story where those storylines eventually converge. It's fun to read the clues and hints along the way on how those characters will eventually meet up – and if the character development is done well, it's fun to speculate on how your two p…
There have been so many, but I gotta pick these two since they actually had a huge impact on me while growing up: Alanna from the Song of the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce: [image] Because growing up, she set the standard for strong female warrior character. and Nausicaa (as @eslameldeeb a…
"Captain. Captain Jack Sparrow." - Pirates of the Caribbean
I have to work a full time job to pay rent and bills, but I'm actually trying to find another job right now with a more consistent schedule so I can actually get into a routine of working on my comic (because I hope for it to eventually become my primary source of income).
For the moment this guy is the villain of Burning Bright (you can tell because his room is light like a Disney villain's ). I say "for the moment" though because we haven't met all the villains yet and the rest is spoilers...

Keela and Bran from Burning Bright become... Keelan and Brandy? Maybe I'll color this one day, but for now, here you go!

I don't normally do stuff like this, but I was bored and it looked like fun. Also art!
(Also @Jewe11s I think we almost have the same haircut )

Since Burning Bright is a pretty serious story, the one thing I will never do is make everything be fine and dandy in the end. I'm not saying that the ending is going to be super depressing – I am actually planning on a good, solid, satisfying ending – but it 100% won't end up with the characters g…
When I first started writing Burning Bright, this is what I did because I just wanted to get to the story already! Part-way through, though, it started to get confusing and I realized I had to stop writing the script, and actually write down some facts about the world beforehand. Now I have maps…
Hello, all! I'm ErithEl, creator of series Burning Bright and I am currently open to submissions of guest art if anyone is interested. With my current job's schedule being completely hectic, and the process of searching for a new job, I have had little time to work on my comic. So instead of going…
The reason why I am not a fan of love triangles (or Love V's as @joannekwan more accurately called them) is because they are put in a story just to cause drama between the characters. A very specific type of drama, as well, that is only there to bring up feelings of jealousy and mistrust between cha…
I've got a couple:

And, of course, there's always my own comic Burning Bright [image]
Hope you enjoy!
I'd love the chance to draw your characters! Here's my comic for visual reference! Let me know if you'd like me to contribute any art.
I believe "Thank You" pictures are generally accepted here, as long as they are simply that. I love getting "Thanks for subscribing" pictures on my wall, but I have also gotten a couple postings of "Check out my comic." Those are not cool. The Thank You drawings are a very nice, subtle way of a…
I see you already have a full list here, but if you're still looking for comics to review, I'd like to add mine: Burning Bright [image]
The year Hugh Jackman hosted I went to watch the stars arrive – and almost got shoved through a fence when George Clooney showed up! Seriously, it was like a wave of bodies.
I've never really had an issue with the same gag-a-day comics being featured in the Daily Snack simply because it makes sense why they would be there in the first place. They are fun and easy to read, and much easier to share than a long form comic. "Sarah's Scribbles" for example get featured a lot…
This is Page 4 of Burning Bright when I was still getting comfortable with drawing the characters. [image] Jump forward to Page 36 where the character are better but perspective is still a little wonky. [image] Aaaand fast forward to Page 69 which I just uploaded today! [image] Looking bac…
If lack of communication serves a purpose for the story, that's different. If it's there for the sole purpose of causing unnecessary drama, that's when it annoys me!
OK, most of mine have always been said, so I will leave them out. Although I need to make a special shout out to "Love Triangles" (which, technically are not TRIANGLES anyway, because it always seems to be a girl trying to choose between two guys and it would only be a triangle if Girl like Guy 1 wh…
First of all, I will say that there was a huge arts program in the highschool I attended, so I was able to learn pretty much everything from oil painting to metal work. I was always pretty good at it all, so everyone was surprised when I did not choose to go to college for arts. That's because per…
I loved seeing everyone's pictures/comics! Best Valentines Day gift ever! Of course a special thank you to @desannlim!
Oh, all the time! As much as people say it, it's really difficult not to compare yourself to others who are working in the same field as you, assumedly towards the same goals. For me, it's less of ignoring/skipping over these comics but more intensely analyzing every fricken pixel of the page, wo…
