This one is mine! It's called "Plot Line" and it's about a girl who has these nightmares that start to become real and she has to figure out what they mean. It deals with themes of abuse and mental health https://tapas.io/series/Plot-Line
I just started uploading mine a couple of days ago!
Well not my first comic but definitely my first comic on here: It's a surreal dream comic.
This the first comic I posted online which was a gag-a-day series. Sometimes I miss drawing in a more simple toony(?) style XD. But mostly I used it to practice ti be more experimental and practice techniques.
Here's my first comic. It was a fun little newspaper comic type thing. Mostly just did it to teach myself the ropes of drawing and practice. So it is super-duper inconsistent and experimental at points.
This is my first original webtoon! It’s an entry for a contest - so any support is highly appreciated.
A good thing about newspaper strips is that they're pretty flexible for practice and experimenting
Yeah, definitely. Honestly, half the fun I've had reading both newspaper comics and webcomics in general is watching the art change and evolve as the artist does.
Like, here was the first ever Peanuts Strip:
Compared to the final one ever published:
The difference is striking
Yeah, they look like they could be entirely different comics, actually. (I mean, Snoopy is almost unrecgonizable from his early design.)
A long time ago, somewhere on Smackjeeves Circa 2009....
WHAT, HOLY SHIT. HEY, THANKS A TON. This is such a nice comment to get! I'm glad my goofy little story is still remembered.
This is my one and only comic: If you want a comic about average people dealing with depression, and gangsters who want to kill them, then this is the comic for you.
Yep! The new comic (called Solanaceae) can be found here on Tapas and updates twice every week.
I also make a bunch of games and have a ton of other comics listed on Itch.io as well, if that's something you're interested in.
mine is BL sorta with some of my pesonal music experience
From the wild days of the 2000s:

Zoey the Alien Crashes to Earth Crashing into Donald Trump's Wall
been working on Mirror Monster for 3 years now (ongoing), also my only comic series as of now. bleh
Hell yeah! Webcomics were still pretty new to me back then so there weren't a whole lot I read, but out of those was a smaller handful of ones I really enjoyed, and helped motivate me to break into the comic scene. As sappy as it is, WIRES was totally one of them. (Actually I think I'm still subscribed to it on DD/The Duck.)
