So Webtoon has this featured on the banner at the top of the front page. It’s basically Yuri on Ice if it was furry and included martial arts for some reason. Furry on Ice? Also someone is secretly a vampire? This is an interesting way to introduce furry stuff to a wider audience for sure, but it’s not bad lol.

Ha that’s great, I didn’t even realize you’d sent me the link to this. I saw in the comments that the creator confirmed both main characters are guys. So given the (pretty fantastic) Yuri fanfic vibes this series is giving off I’d place my bets on this turning out to be some kind of BL or LGBTQ romance story too.

My friend and I have a webcomic series that will actually have plenty of furry characters. They are beings that use illusion magic to appear more humanlike but most of the time it's flawed and you will see some have more animal features than others.

I’ve been subbed to your comic for a while now and I really love the mix of cute and horror that comes through not just in the story, but in the character designs. There don’t seem to be a lot of horror stories with anthropomorphic animal characters as the focus (unless you count werewolves). The furry fandom mostly focuses on cute cartoony art with gore and scary stuff being a bit harder to find. This is a great departure from the norm and I’m really excited to see where you take these characters.

I am kind of glad that money is the driving force to almost everything because as long as something can make money, we may get more content of things a lot of us have been hoping for/deprived of for so long. I mean, it's not like someone is gonna pass up the chance to make money xD Unless they like getting paid in some strange currency like moldy pumpkins or something O.o

With Zootopia, Beastars, Aggretsuko and BNA all pulling in huge fan bases and add revenue the last couple years… yeah my prediction is we are about to get a lot more of this stuff soon. COVID is starting a big boom for animation as a silver lining due to it being safer than shooting in person right now. A Rescue Rangers movie, Wiley Coyote movie and a new Zootopia tv show plus movie sequel have all been confirmed in the last month. Now if we could get more stuff directed towards adult audiences like Blades of Furry and some of what Netflix has going on that would be great. Most furries aren’t rich, but considering how much disposable income they collectively put into art commissions and fursuiting. There’s definitely a big market for media companies to tap. The fandom is only getting bigger and is slowly gaining more positive press. It’s not going away anytime soon. Might as well make $$$ off it.
