Welcome to my second post! I know there were some old posts regarding this, but over the months and years our own style and comic covers / chapter covers are changing/evolving. As they say the comic cover is the first thing your reader sees if the comic is very inviting to read or not. Post me your latest comic covers and the link to each comic. I would love to see them!
It also brings to this particular opinion of mine: For my comic I would rather go for single page paneling than vertical single scroll paneling just because it's rather fun and challenging for me and brings it to my little happiness/ satisfaction that it would look like a real comic book that you can have in your own hands. I just make sure that the images and text are readable and enough to see on mobile. I know vertical paneling and is larger, has more freedom but that's my own preference for my style lol.
Even though my first comic won't ever be printed and sold in real life for reasonable things, I love having this feeling of satisfaction. Hopefully in the future, I would be able to but with another more unique and original story that I'd be ready for. This is my first ever webcomic so I hope everything goes well for a newbie like me~ Right now I am sketching its first pages while juggling school work lmao
