I have a comic I made entirely in vectors with some raster effects with stylized colors: I do have a few other comics where I use 3D backgrounds but this one I tried to utilize the 3D to be almost seamless and really experimented with blacks and grays to achieve something different from my usual work: They're both finished and short stories so not very long. And I really like the 3D comic! I'm used to most 3D comics looking the same.
I feel sorry for anyone who will attempt to binge it when I'm done XD It's certainly not for the weak.
In The Real Women of the US Military, we used watercolor markers to do the colors. I also employ both computer lettering with Comic Life software and old school hand lettering.
Days in a Life: 9-11 and the Aftermath has traditional pencils and inks, artistic photo manipulation, and a few pages where I played with Comic Life backgrounds and stock art.
Not a style we do every strip but in our Crossover Homage month, we at Oddly Vanilla used this style...just a sample and not in order...
Thanks for the shout out! I was just getting ready to post mine!
What a coincidink--I just started up an experimental oneshot!
I played around with the usage of ink-like lines, supplemented with painterly shading and a bunch of other fade effects. I took a lot of inspiration from this guy called Dan Kim--especially his experimental works, such as this one:

The latest update has some experimental things (by my standards) when it comes to cross-hatching, texture and what not, the later drawings have a flow to it. At least I think so.
Everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for showing me your work. You all showed me some real gems
I donāt know if it counts as unconventional but I use a painty style of shading instead of cel shading like a lot of comic artists use.
Hereās some pages (not in order) from the last update (+an extra art of some characters Iāll be introduced soon).
Most of these are traditionally hand-drawn.
