Every artist is different, but the vast majority share some things in common. Black outlines to make things more clear, 'soft' shadows, slightly stylized yet real-life inspired proportions. That's perfectly fine and I got nothing against it, but I prefer more experimental things.
Maybe you are doing a webcomic using pixel art techniques. Perhaps you are using 3D, or mixing it with 2D characters/scenarios. Hell, maybe someone is working on something gothic-esque, with very strong shadows and dark colors similar to Darkest Dungeon. Possibilities are almost endless, so I'd appreciate if you showed me your webcomics with non-conventional art-styles!
