A friend told me about people reading comics on TickTok.
Short videos on a few pages with some music, apparently good for commuting on the bus.

I'm researching it for my stuff, but I was wondering if anyone has some first-hand experience they can share.

While I didn't share comics via TikTok or Youtube Shorts.

  • TikTok has the carrousel function which is images that you swipe, you don't have to do much at all except to make sure all images are in the proper order

  • Then the video version, you can leave them as they are, or zoom up a bit and do a little movement to the left, or down. Good thing is that this can be done within TikTok's editing feature or you can use apps such as YouCut and prep the resolution, ratio and such.

But I've seen that a lot of people prefer to read stories on parts that way (Tho if it isn't a short story it gets kind of tiring) but it helps to pick the interest for those that'd like to read the whole thing and would search the comic. I've read a few stories through that method and it helps get people hooked a bit more sucessfuly than sharing the drawing process of a specific panel or a few ones.
