When someone goes missing in Outer Trinity, there aren’t many people who can help. Connections to Houses, gangs, or Spyders are happy to assist for the right price. Alternatively bounty hunters, especially those from the Outlands are highly sought after for their ability to hone in on a vanishing trail (though prejudices often keep folks from seeking an Outlander's help, no matter how talented). In the end it's far easier to lose someone than it is to find them. Sometimes people walk into the streets of Trinity and seem to blow away like dust on the wind.
