Process videos - do you guys make or watch?

Hey, i'm trying doing some videos of me drawing, a friend always said that was cool and such. Do you guys make this type of thing? Or do you like to watch other artists drawing?
I sometimes watch people streaming their work, but don't know if people like really much if it isn't live.

I think those kinds of videos can be really interesting and yours are great.

I like watching streams. I stopped watching progress videos after finding that most of them started at the lineart stage. I watch other artists to learn their techniques,and starting at the lineart stage doesn't help me too much.

i can relate, i was watching a stream earlier today, and the artist was finishing lineart when i started, so i was looking his tumblr for videos, since i wanted to see how he started working, and the majority of the videos started with lineart.

I only watch when there is footage by someone I'd like to watch (like Geof Darrow, Hirata Shuuichi, Don Rosa), meaning never.

I make them for my Patreon page, but not many because I don't have a very good recording program and breaking things down into 15 min parts is a pain. I rarely post the sketching process because it is embarrassing and more stressful when you know someone will be looking at the mess of scribbles that I'm creating to get to the final product. It can take hours to turn a scribble into something worth while and I don't have the recording space for that kind of thing... while inking, colouring and toning takes no time at all...

I watch a number of videos because I'm learning several programs at once. Always searching for what tools people use, what settings and so on and so forth. Tend to actually spend my breaks watching a video or two.

I have never done a video but I have made gifs, I am still pretty new to making them though so they are all sort of crappy... ^_^;

I've decided to start a blog over on Youtube (like just started) and I thought that there's plenty of drawing blogs, advice for Webcomics blogs, review blogs. So to try something different, in addition to some news for my comic, I thought I could do some flowery advice on doing webcomics and shoutouts instead of reviews, a bit more of a magazine blog about Webcomics instead of technical. Hope it's fun anyway

It's really cool to see the process in some manner, look what you do different from other artists and such.

I thought about making a process video from start to finish but it would mostly consist of me pressing CTRL-Z the whole way through.

The closest I've gotten (besides streaming) is a process gif. BTW, if you do traditional art photoshop can auto-align your time lapse images. Like this:

Definitely a watcher. I've processed a few of my animations online but i'd much rather watch other's videos. That and Idk, i'm shy sometimes when videos are involved xD!

I watch a few, but I'm really picky about artists I like. If I'm not a total fan I'm not too interested.
Most of the artists I follow are animators, but they do have process videos.

I made process videos/speedpaints in my late years of high school, mainly to test out the idea but haven't done it in yeeears. I've thought about getting into it again with my comic pages, or general illustrations, but I don't have a very good setup for a webcam, and I really don't have the time to sit and do the drawing process straight through. Also, to be honest, I don't even know if readers would be interested at this point? I've tried before and didn't get much response, so I don't see much point putting in the time and effort.
Maybe someday.
