Hello. I just found out about the Tapastic Forum and I have some questions I would appreciate if you guys could answer.
okay so I draw my comic using Manga studio, 940x1440 but the quality isn't too great and it is quite blurry. I have tried drawing on a bigger canvas and transferring to photoshop to resize but it still ends up being blurry I was wondering if anyone has any solutions?
my comic is College Kids so you can take a look and see what i mean

I'm .....actually not really seeing the pixelation you're describing!

In this panel --

that line on the back of the chair is the only one that looks pixelated to me -- which might just be a result of a straight line tool -- but everything else looks fine to me! Is anyone else seeing a pixelation problem that's not showing up for me?

Looks fine to me! Might be a loading error for your browser - try going to the comic in a different browser and see how it looks.

But your readers are definitely seeing it okay; it looks great! <3

I see what you mean, it's just that is looks sort of blurred out and not as crisp as i want it to be.

Have you tried setting your canvas to 500 or 600dpi before you draw on it?

Also, as far as I know/have experienced, Tapastic itself does compress uploads to a certain degree. I find my pages don't look nearly as crisp once they've been uploaded (but the JPG files themselves look fine)

I usually work at 11"x17" at 300 dpi; when I transfer the files to Photoshop to color, I might lose a little, but not much. I start to lose a lot once I save in the PNG/JPEG format(when finished).

yes i have. but when i post it, it still comes out slightly blurred

It could also be the brush setting you're using! Be sure to check that too.

changing your DPI settings won't affect the online quality of your drawings - it only relates to when you print it.

have you checked what settings photoshop resamples things to?

it could also be that you're reducing it to a weird percentage too, for some reason when you resize too close to the original size in photoshop, it comes out blurry
