A Caged Bird

Fantasy, GL Novel

Updates every Saturday

A prophecy was told about a parakeet girl born with a star in her eye. This star would give her the power to see the future. The greedy monarchs wanted this power to themselves; they kidnapped the girl and locked her in a cage, in a tower far away from civilization.

They used her.

Once the girl turned eight years old, a little raven girl, Toni, accidentally flew into the young girl's tower.

This is where their story starts.

Will you join them?

I'm trying to get to 25 subs by the end of January

I have something for you all, I present to you...
_**Join our hero on a convoluted and hard-to-develop adventure. After waking up in a city called "Anima" , Koba wanders around searching for a reason behind his situation.
Soon enough, he got a painful dose of what the rest of the world thinks of him. The then socially anxious Koba would soon befriend the very people that he was wastefully afraid about. But something does not feel right, he has no idea, but there is something that simply feels off...

[Notice: This may have fanfic elements but I am doing something different, something a bit....well, I don't wanna spoil the suprise]**_

Thank you for the opportunity. I just started checking out your comic and I like what I've seen so far

You are welcome to check out my novel if you feel like it:

Here is a little insight in the story itself:

If only someone had told me, how desperate death’s scent reeks. Maybe I could have warned the others then, that the danger was too severe. I wish I could blame myself, I’d love to claim there was this ominous feeling that forbade disaster, and we had simply ignored it. That way, at least there ever was a chance for things to turn out differently. But there never was, was there?

When the first rifts appeared twenty years ago, life changed drastically for humanity. Fierce battles for survival with foreign beasts became part of everyday life. The people who survived, their first unwilling venture into a rift, came known as “rifters”. Since then, it’s been their job to protect civilians from the rift’s dangers - if they want it or not.

As Duncan and his friends enter another rift as planned, they expected nothing more than a fierce fight to destroy the rift's connector, like many times before. But what lurked in this rift was too much for their group to take. With an enemy that they cannot overcome and all their lives on the line, Duncan receives an offer he cannot refuse. Little did he knew how this covenant would flip his life around. When he realizes what this deal really entails, he starts to wonder if dying would have been the better choice instead.

I'm launching a novel today - it's a TV newsroom drama set in the year 2028. So, it's either a SciFi with heavy influence from contemporary ensemble dramas, or an Aaron Sorkin/Shonda Rimes TV show that just happens to be in the future.

Hope you all like!

I'd love for you to check out my comic!

The LATEST episodes of my series STICKTOONS is available now. The FINAL Strip of Season 3 will be available on January 6th!

»So now it’s happened…«

And as I was laying there, surrounded by the marks of my failure, I couldn’t help but think back.

Once, I decided to forget my past. Anything else, I could not have endured. What remained for me, was the path of strength. So I walked and I walked, like a soldier. And when I turned around at the peak of the mountain, there was no one left behind me. But for me, there was no other way, because too late I understood: Power is the only truth in this broken world.

Now, at the end of time itself, no wall remained for me to hide behind. My demons caught up with me and unsealed Pandora’s box. Now that I lost my legs and with it my path to walk, my life was deprived of meaning. So I cried. I cried in remorse and self-hatred until my tears dried up. All that remained was emptiness.

But just as my pathetic life was winding down in its final moments, a figure appeared before me. A woman, wrapped in black.

»Do you want to live?«

And as the earth shook and lightning thundered through the sky, darkness engulfed me.

Once again, I vowed, the whole world shall fear me - and this time, I will tear my enemies apart.

Because I am Hektor.

I don't think I have any fans so far.

Just found this forum. Anyway, here's mine!

The Japanese Samaria era based Fantasy novel with some Anime flare is here!

Blurb:

From the underbelly of the war-zone, the clangs of clashing Katanas and Yaris never died. The eight deities fought tooth and nail to shut off the first Hell-Gate. But, the only things they sealed off were the lives of two deities and countless men. They dragged themselves back to the castle to rule the nation of deteriorating hopes.

Another lost battle!
Another dead deity!

Especially among the people of the Hirata clan—a war clan that was at the bottom of the food chain. Marked as war-dogs and stained in poverty, it seemed like nothing would change to the nine-year-old Mika. Until the volley of news exposed certain people of importance. The people she treated as gods, saw her like mindless cattle. Betrayal! Hatred brewed in her! Brewed when she was working with those very same gods she despised, trying to unravel what happened.

A mere deadly shot in the dark appeared in front of her. A chance to change all of it—right from the root. She could save her people. Not just hers—all of them! Only one shot at the reversing chaos, thrusting her back in time—to the whirlpool of deceit and doom.
