I'm an odd case, there wasn't a particular song that could fit him, but I have an actual theme Song (Or rather, that I've commisioned time ago) that is meant to represent Alfredo, my series main protagonist: A young adolescent, usually bubbly and nice, but that tend to repress himself, until, due to it's unstable emotion, He, unpredictably, explode, like the change of tone in the second half!

Set in a "Fantasy" world with Sci-fi roots, "Stories from the Golden Garden" is a "Slice of Life" anthology that, following the Prologue, tells 5 short stories based around 4 Holidays that are celebrated by the Main Characters, and the origin Story of the main protagonist of "The Golden Garden".

I have a playlist full of songs that fit the vibes of my story/the characters XD I'll try to pick only 2 for the 2 main characters, but that also fit the story as a whole...

Mikhail - Icarus

Mikhail is this Angel who is mainly considered a disappointment by his family and has no choice but to go live on Earth, he is unsure about his future and is always bordering on becoming a fallen Angel, mainly because of his lust and alcohol consumption. Icarus is also a reocurring theme in the story as cutting a character's wings is seen as a form of punishment/angels' wings sometimes get sold on the black market by Demons. (Geez I made it sound dark even though it is a comedy, maybe I should have picked Everytime we touch instead, it also fits him.)

Stefan - My Demons

Now this is a song that fits the story as a whole and works with many characters, but I originally picked it for Stefan, Mikhail's roommate on Earth. Stefan is a rather serious guy who sometimes acts strange for unknown reasons. At the beginning of the story he is hit by a mysterious disease (like the sickness taking over from the song). There are hints that he might actually be possessed but I'll leave that up to debate as this is bordering spoiler territory. Either way, this is a love story and his feelings for Mikhail are too strong to let anything bad happen to him. Milhail's soothing presence as an Angel really takes Stefan's pain away in the end

Interestingly, the main character could represent both the singer in the song (due to her sheer pessimism in regards to the rest of the world) but also BE the character in the song, Mr. Blue as said pessimism means she's regularly depressed. Additionally, at this point I've associated the comic with Ska Punk through other characters.

This song comes to mind when thinking of my newest comic series Typhoon.

I know it says "Cloud 9" when the series is about a water based superhero, but something about this song brings out an aura of deep calmness that I feel is a central theme in the story.

This is a really cool idea! Thank you for the opportunity!

My main trio are hybrids of angel and demon which makes them very humanlike. The story is very action, so I would say Linked Horizon's "Jiyuu No Tsubasa (Wings of Freedom)" the second opening them to the anime Attack on Titan. I feel the theme of war in the song as well as wanting freedom really embodies all the character's personalities and goals. They value being protectors, hate their demon sides and want to bring humanity to freedom from the demons.
