Just as the title says! Music tends to inspire most of my writing, and I want to know what your main character(s) theme songs would be? Drop your character(s) name, your story link and a link to the song! You can explain why it's their theme song or leave it to our curiosity to find out why!

This is a tough one for me because I have several, but I'll include some of the major characters that have or will appear that I know I have songs for.

I haven't figure out a name for this character yet since I haven't introduced her into the story yet, and I kind of have an Idea for her as well

Don't ask me why exactly these two, but it's probably the kind of music she listens to, so that's good enough

HA-- my whole comic is a big ole music reference.
Edwin's character was entirely inspired by this song-- it's not really his theme song, but rather it fits his own themes. Van Der Graaf Generator/Peter Hammill's music is a huge inspiration for Edwin's character in general.

There's also the song I named the comic after, which is a LOT shorter.

And then there's the song I'm changing the title to, because I think it fit's even better...

Oh! It's the same for me honestly, I have lots of theme songs/playlist for my character's to inspire me while writing/drawing! I think if the music fits them it adds to the feelings you can portray in a certain chapter or drawing what is quite interesting.
I have lots of theme songs for both of my main character's, so it's hard for me to chose, if I am being honest. But if I had to settle on one or two it would be these:

Seraphina (protagonist):

Nightmares by WE ARE FURY feat. Gallie Fisher

(This song describes her struggle fighting against darkness and the antagonist Azrael)

Girls like us by Zoe Wees

(This song describes her internal struggle more and part of her personality. It's the perfect description of when she is more emotional)

Azrael (antagonist):

Last Laugh by FLETCHER

(This song basically sums up Azrael's fixation for Seraphina. Of course it runs far deeper than this and this is just a minor part of his personality but it describes his feelings for her pretty well)

Well, I have 6 main characters, which is why my story is called "The Grand Six".

Anyways, for the human main character, who is a knight, would have this kind of song:
Simple Plan - Last One Standing
The reason why this song, is because she goes through a lot, but keeps going, no matter what.

For the other human character, who is a priest, would obviously have this kind of music:
Globus - Take Me Away

For the ant humanoid, would be this song:
Trapt - Headstrong
The reason, she's not very bright and willing to fight anything

For the bird humanoid, would be this song:
Galantis - Hunter
The reason, she's basically a hunter, who can scout and kill silently, but loyal and loving to those close to her.

For the lizard humanoid, would be this song:
Mike Shinoda - Prove You Wrong
The reason is that, where she comes from, she's not suppose to be a warrior of any kind.

For the fish humanoid, would be this one:
SPYAIR - Some Like It Hot! (Samurai Heart)
The reason, as someone said, the song is about being yourself, no matter what others expect of you. Also, she's a samurai and her culture is basically inspired by Japan

My MC song is written by myself (lyrics) and produced with the help of other talented people. It's a projection of his twisted past to his current state and also a response to the first song from the webtoon ( which presents his partner). I cant' actually say which one of them is MC))))) but this song is just more polished.

and for Fingerprints Kaya I would go with Fight Song by Rachel Platten

Gunhild's theme song would be "Spirit In the Sky" by Keiino. It's about overcoming fear and repression, and has an overrunning theme of the Northern lights, which suits her perfectly

I decided to go the musical route for this one because that has been my jam lately.

Mr. Lovecraft would be The world has gone insane from the Jekyll and Hyde musical. Sanity has never been his best friend and reality keeps slipping out from under him.

Mr. Graves would of course be from the Frankenstein musical, Amen just fits his whole personality (I included the animatic because the artwork is amazing!)

Finally for Mr. Gears I see him as Hermes from the Hadestown Musical, a straight man narrator type who balances the chaos of the other characters. Any of Hermes songs would have worked by I adore The Road to Hell plus jazz is an American creations just like our New England born automaton.
