I’m in a writing group where we do short stories with 350 words based on a prompt. I enjoyed creating the character of Elyn and figured why not write a full novel based on the story I wrote for the prompt.

My story idea came up just out of nowhere, it was when I was writing my first novel "palette" which is a romance story when the idea showed up, and has a COMPLETELY different tone compared to the second novel here, "Ballad of the Emberfrost", it's basically just a magical academy story with swordsmanship, and with special humans that are able to transform into weapons.

Anyways, here's me story, currently in its Volume 2 content: the Four Stars Tournament arc.

My first novel is a true story, so it's pretty straightforward as to how I was inspired. It is based on my own life of coming to terms with, accepting, and then trying to live with my own sexuality. I have a near photographic memory, and people are always asking me how the heck I remember things so clearly, so I decided to put some of those things in writing.

Some of those things are tragic (deaths of children), some are terrifying (two attempted sexual abductions), some are heartbreaking (finding, then losing my first love), some are disturbing (religious fanatacism, substance abuse, mental illness, suicide), some are funny (setting a trap to catch an ex-lover in the act of cheating), and some are heartwarming (finding happiness in a world seemingly determined to not let me have it). And yes, some of it is definitely steamy. I've lead an interesting life.

The main story in this novel is completed, but it still updates sporadically with short stories and bonus content

My second novel was inspired by a lifelong dream. Ever since I was a child I've daydreamed of being able to fly. The dreams are vivid, so I made a story about a guy who sprouted wings and could fly. This evolved into a whole world of shapeshifters and magic. Of course my being gay has an influence as well, and all of the major characters are men who like men. In fact, in my shapeshifter world all shapeshifters are male (and all hecates, or woods witches, are female).

Both of my novels are illustrated. I wanted to draw before I wanted to write, so I do both.

This novel is ongoing, updates Saturdays and some Wednesdays with bonus content.

I actually once tried auditioning for a vtuber company a while ago. I came up with a character, Vastora the grim reaper and created a bunch of stuff around him to make a video. After the audition, I still have the character design and the character background and was like, why not expand it further. Before that moment, I already did have some idea about making a webtoon, but I didnt want to make it at that moment. Then I decided to just wing it anyway, "might learn something along the way" I told my self. That's how Art of Death came to be.

When the day was a bit difficul, I would lay down to rest and let myself into a story.
I wondered what If there was a place where there were few things known, would I explore or would I sit peacefully?

My writer and I came up with our story idea by looking at the lives of celebrities and wondering how someone would act if they were born with that much power and money in their hands and wanted to write the character in a supernatural world.

Well truth to be told, I was suffering my 8th grade syndrome, just wanted some powers and go bersake on the world. Than I tried to put logic on getting all that power like 'there'e a dragon sealed inside me'. But really there is no dragon sealed anywhere it's just that character was once a dragon. And it's not just dragoans, we also got Giants, phoenix, fenrir and I would like to stop here or I will spoil everything.

But lets me just that it's really fun if you could spare some time to read it out. The world building is really great, in future of this work you can see the how the world work's in a fantacy-like way.

My series is a homage to Mad Magazine's Spy vs. Spy. I found it interesting in how the creator managed to tell a story without words and also send an hidden message about the futility on war and conflict.

My comic was heavily inspired by all of the G/T media I consumed as a child. The most specific comparison I have would have to be the Studio Ghibli movie "The Secret World of Arietty" (Highly recommend, great watch). The first idea I had was a lot darker and featured my main character being in a black market operation where "borrowers" were sold to anybody willing to buy them as pets or possibly even food if the person wanted to. Im glad now that I went with a much gentler theme for my first comic. Though I may make the original idea at some point.

I honestly don't know how I came up with the story. QuQ I was 15 when I first made it.
I mean, a lot of my ideas just popped into my head when I was a teenager. It doesn't happen that way as often nowadays, but I still get some nice ideas randomly like that 16 years later.
All I remember is I was in class in highschool one day and I got an idea and drew a few characters and thus the story came to me.

However I do recall the style I first drew it in was very Tim Burton like.

How fun.
Mine is a funny story, to be exact. My brother decided he was going to write a future dystopia story. I thought it had a great beginning (but he soon scrapped that idea, sadly. ), So while he was writing everything down. We started talking about how fast we could write something down; he asked to see how quickly I could do it, and I did just that and got my fantastic intro.
Afterward, we decided to encourage one another and work on our stories at the same time. We gave each other ideas and helped one another along the way. He has now changed it to medieval, but it is coming along just great. The prologue are just the words that popped up into my head. Took me have minutes to do a page and a half.
And this is how Hell's Towers come into the world.

It began long ago. How many have died since that time? Too many. Where should I begin? I have no idea. Let’s start with a wish and the greed of Humans. What is the desire, the want for power, nothing but power and money. And that wish leads to chaos, nothing but pitch-black chaos.

I’m not sure how I came up with. I’ve had this character in my head for a long time though and he’s one of my favorite OC’s I’ve come up with. I’ve rewritten the beginning of his story several times and I still don’t think I’ve perfected yet, but I wanted to upload it anyway.

My comic "Signs Point to Bobbie" is a slice of life series about a deaf teenager. I got the idea for these characters years ago; I wanted to make a deaf OC simply because I never had before. I recently decided to make this comic because I love my OCs and wanted to tell a lighthearted story!
