For Pride Month, I wanted to start a thread for fantasy authors to share their new novels centering around LGBTQ+ characters? Allies are also very much welcome here. Tell us about yourself and describe your latest fantasy novel. Peruse the submissions below, and if a novel catches your interest, check it out and consider subscribing.

So I'll start.

My name is Leo, and I'm a bisexual (specifically omnisexual) author currently publishing an urban Gothic fantasy serial titled Eidolon City: Crossroads, which centers around Ezekiel Blake, a repentant vampire seeking to turn his life around and reconnect with humanity. He befriends a sorceress named Angela Thorne in Eidolon City and helps her gain control of her magic. The two slowly fall in love, and Ezekiel's once solitary life seems to have finally changed for the better. But his new life and companions are threatened when a group of vampires comes to Eidolon City seeking a mysterious artifact. Leading this vampiric congregation is Baldur von Schwarzwald, Ezekiel's Anointer and former lover.

Don't mind if I do....

Chaos Dog is an illustrated modern mythology novel featuring LGBT+ leads.

Elliott (left) is nonbinary, and Puck (right) is a panromantic, greysexual, genderfluid deity.

I feel like we've probably all experienced enough turbulence in the last year, so I'm trying to keep it light and funny, and just write a fun adventure. A major theme is dealing with fear of the unknown.

My novel is mainly fantasy and I loveeee writing it, also have future LGBT characters planned!
I look forward to seeing novels of similar genres!

I just love this sort of thing.
I'm Djourner, i'm demisexual and I write Journey to Ataraxia... Ya peps in the forum are probably tired of seing my icon around. xD

JTA is an adventure/drama anthro story. Our main character are as follows:
Vernon - The anxious and depressed little manned wolf who is trying to be a hero in a world that wants him dead.
Azreth - The runaway prince who wants to silence his broken heart by living in pure hedonism.
Grey - Former bounty hunter with a tragic past, struggling to remember what it feels like to be a normal person.

On an aimless 'brotip' across the world they find comfort and love in one another while having run-ins with the law and the many shadows in each of their past.
And unbeknownst to them these three lovers just might be the core of what this world needs to survive the storm that is to come.

Brand spankin' new, just started posting last week!
However, it should be noted that it is a sequel. While the first book doesn't have much of an LGBTQ+ focus, this one does a bit more as it spotlights the relationship between the two men of a polycule established in the first book.
I've been wary promoting it in BL threads because it doesn't follow any of the usual tropes, so I hope it fits here!

Hey there, I’m Renn, I’m a queer trans dude and I’m writing a story about a Gay Wizard. It’s not nearly as Fantasy Genre as it sounds - he’s in high school and magic Definitely Doesn’t Exist and Neither Do Dragons.

I’ve only got two chapters up, but there’s a lot written (35k words so far!) and I’m updating on Mondays and Fridays!

Hello! I'm Maria and I'm ace. I currently have a BL novel about a consort sent to kill the King that I update more or less every day. It's quite angsty, and there is quite a heavy focus on their relationship, but it's also full of politics and mysteries (MC used to be a detective and he can't stop solving cases even as a consort).

It's tagged BL as it is a gay romance, but it is not the main focus. Not at the beginning, should I say. Revelations and explanations come bit by bit. If you do appreciate action, fantasy, maybe this story will be able to satisfy you

My book Reborn on a Systemless Earth... With a System is a very silly Reverse Isekai story that features plenty of queer characters, including a lesbian married couple and an extremely slow burn BL romance subplot with the main character. If you like slow burn romances and ridiculous comedy, please read it!
